Players should play to their full potential and bring glory to Madhya Pradesh: Minister Sarang

Bhopal: Sports and Youth Welfare Minister Shri Vishwas Kailash Sarang has said that players should showcase their sports talent to their full potential and make Madhya Pradesh proud in the country. The state government is providing every facility for the promotion of sports. Minister Shri Sarang was addressing the closing ceremony of the state level boxing championship at Tatya Tope Sports Stadium on Tuesday. On this occasion, he also distributed prizes to the outstanding players and teams.
Madhya Pradesh will also become a leader in boxing in the country. Minister Shri Sarang expressed hope that Madhya Pradesh will also become a leader in boxing in the country with such events. He said that sports have an important place in building a civilized society. Sports make a person disciplined, restrained and sportsmanship makes one physically and mentally strong. Minister Shri Sarang said that Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi has worked for the promotion of players and sports. Recently, a new sports policy has come, now for the first time all the sports associations and federations in the country will be able to work smoothly on the promotion of sports. The Central Government has presented an expanded bill in the Lok Sabha to ensure their proper coordination with the government. In times to come, there will be further development of sports in the country. This bill has been announced to form the National Sports Tribunal on the suggestion given by Minister Shri Sarang to the Union Sports Minister a year ago. Players representing Madhya Pradesh will be selected from MP Youth Games. Minister Shri Sarang has said that under the leadership of Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav, sports are being promoted, developed and smooth sports facilities are being provided in Madhya Pradesh. Work is being done to hone the talent of players by building at least one sports stadium in every assembly constituency. He said that organizing the MP Youth Games in October will not be a mere formality; players representing Madhya Pradesh at the national level will also be selected from this event. Minister Shri Sarang honored the outstanding player and the team. Lokesh Kag of Ujjain was awarded the title of Best Boxer, Vinay Solanki of TT Nagar Sports Stadium was awarded the title of Best Promising Boxer, Ashita Rawat of TT Nagar Sports Stadium was awarded the title of Girl’s Best Boxer and Anshika Tiwari of Gwalior was awarded the title of Promising Boxer. In the boys team, TT Nagar Sports Stadium Bhopal, Ujjain, Jabalpur Corporation Boxing Association and in the girls team, TT Nagar Sports Stadium Bhopal, Gwalior and Jabalpur Corporation Boxing Association were the winners. On this occasion, Sports Director Mr. Rakesh Kumar Gupta, Joint Director Mr. BS Yadav and Chief Coach Mr. Roshan Lal were present. Minister Mr. Sarang also administered the oath in the ceremony under the public awareness campaign “Drug se distance, hai jaroori”.
