Raipur, 27 July 2025: Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai today listened to the ‘Mann Ki Baat’ program broadcast by Prime Minister Narendra Modi at the Chief Minister’s residence in the capital Raipur. Many dignitaries including Vikas Markam, Naveen Markandey, Amit Chimanani, Harshita Pandey, Amit Sahu were present on this occasion. Chief Minister Sai, while reacting to the 124th edition of ‘Mann Ki Baat’, said that ‘Mann Ki Baat’ is not only a powerful medium of public dialogue, but it also works to fill new energy in the people by bringing out innovations, public efforts and inspirational stories from across the country. Chief Minister Sai said that today is a matter of special pride for Chhattisgarh, because Prime Minister Narendra Modi himself mentioned the innovation done by the women power in the field of cleanliness in the Nagar Panchayat Bilha of Bilaspur district in his program. Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that the women of Bilha were given training in waste management and together they changed the face of the city. This mention is a matter of pride and inspiration for all of us Chhattisgarhis. Chief Minister Sai said that the women of Bilha have shown that when determination and cooperation come together, no change is impossible. This example of cleanliness has made Chhattisgarh proud in the whole country. The women of Bilha have made it the cleanest city of the country with their determination.

Chief Minister Sai said that the innovation done by the women power of Chhattisgarh in the field of cleanliness was specially highlighted by the country’s illustrious Prime Minister in ‘Mann Ki Baat’ today. This shows that cleanliness is not just a government program, but a strong mass movement formed by social awareness and active participation of women. The Chief Minister said that 7 cities of Chhattisgarh have been honored at the national level by the Honorable President under the Swachh Bharat Mission, which include Nagar Panchayat Bilha and other urban bodies. Congratulating the public representatives of urban bodies, corporation commissioners, CMOs, Swachhta Didi and sanitation workers, he said that it is the result of everyone’s dedication and hard work that Chhattisgarh is being honored on national platforms. Chief Minister Sai also informed that during his recent visit to Jashpur district, he came to know that all the five urban bodies of the district have made an unprecedented leap in the cleanliness ranking. The Chief Minister said that two days ago, he himself honored the Swachhta Didi and workers in Jashpur for this excellent performance. The Chief Minister said that a positive environment has been created in Chhattisgarh in the field of cleanliness and the result of the dedication and determination with which our government has implemented the Swachh Bharat Mission is in front of the country today. Chief Minister Sai said that ‘Mann Ki Baat’ has today become a national campaign that transforms ordinary stories from every corner of the country into extraordinary inspiration, which is a living proof of the vibrancy of India’s democracy.
