Bhopal: Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has said that Madhya Pradesh is no longer just a possibility, but has become a strong platform for investment. The state government has made serious and effective reforms at all three levels of policy, process and incentives, due to which investors are getting both real benefits and confidence. He said that now development and investment are going hand in hand in the state. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that Indians living abroad are not only citizens, but also the carriers of Indian culture. He said that the affinity shown by Indians in Barcelona makes him feel Ujjain. Wherever Indians go, they enhance the dignity of traditions and festivals. He said that this is not just a dialogue, but a heart-to-heart connection. The government does not consider investment as just an economic transaction, but considers it a medium of emotional and long-term partnership. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav was addressing the function organized between NRIs and Friends of MP in Barcelona on Friday.
India’s global reputation increased under the leadership of Prime Minister – Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that India’s global credibility has increased unprecedentedly under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi. India is the only country which is providing free ration to 80 crore Indians. This is a testament to India’s capabilities and the power of the system. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav has said that seeing the enthusiasm of all of you in Barcelona, it feels like I am in Ujjain. The impressive speech of Consul General Shri Inbasekar Sundaramurthy has shown that the NRIs of Spain are still attached to their soil. God has given the Indians the glory that they turn wherever they want into heaven. Ujjain, the city of Mahakaal, has a glorious history. People celebrate Holi and Diwali on seeing Indians. The prestige of Indians has increased under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi. Indians mix like sugar in milk. This is the country of brave soldiers… it shows Indian culture. India is a country of heroes. In the present times, India has made its reputation in the world. The world is amazed on seeing India’s progress. Transparency in policies and speed in process- Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that all the policies related to investment in the state have been made keeping in mind the needs of the investors. The processes have been linked to digitalization and fast track approval system. Allotment of land to an industrialist in London immediately after online application is an example of this.
Land for Rs 1 for medical college- Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that the government is committed to expanding health education in the state. If any institution or investor wants to establish a medical college, the government will provide 25 acres of land for just one rupee. This will enable quality health services to reach rural and backward areas.
Subsidy up to Rs 30 crore on hotel project- Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that with the aim of promoting the tourism sector, the government is providing financial assistance of up to Rs 30 crore on hotel projects. This assistance is applicable for projects costing up to Rs 100 crore, so that world-class tourism facilities can be developed in the state.
Opportunities are open in IT, Pharma and Tourism Sector- Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that there are vast possibilities of investment in sectors like textile, pharma, agro processing and tourism in the state. The government is actively working towards expanding the IT industry to small cities. There is a separate policy and support structure for each sector.
Big expansion in medical education, target 50 colleges- Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that the state government has given priority to the expansion of medical education. Currently 37 medical colleges are operating in the state and the target is to increase this number to 50 in the next two years. This will provide opportunities for medical education at the local level to the youth of the state.
Farmers will get relief from solar energy- Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that for self-reliance in the field of energy, it has been decided to give more than 3 lakh solar pumps to the farmers. This will reduce the dependence on electricity for irrigation and farmers will get permanent relief from electricity bills. It will also take the state forward in the direction of green energy.
Madhya Pradesh becomes leading state in wheat production- Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that the state has now overtaken traditional agricultural states like Punjab in wheat production. Food processing units and agri clusters are being established to promote agriculture based industries. This will strengthen both the income of farmers and industrial development.
Rahveer Yojana and Air Ambulance increased confidence- Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that it is the priority of the government to safely transport the injured person in road accidents to the hospital. Under the Rahveer Yojana, an incentive amount of Rs 25 thousand is being given to those doing such noble work. Along with this, air ambulance service has also been started in the state, so that treatment can be provided quickly in emergency situations. Also, the government has effectively implemented the Ayushman Yojana to make healthcare accessible to the masses. Lakhs of Ayushman card holders in the state are getting free treatment up to Rs 5 lakh. Government and private hospitals have been linked to this scheme.
Access to IT and employment in small cities too- Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that small cities of the state are also being connected to the mainstream of digital and technological development. Efforts are on to establish IT industry here, so that local youth do not have to migrate and they can get employment in their own city.
Greeting invitation given to NRIs for investment- Chief Minister Dr. Yadav urged NRIs to not only watch but also become partners in the development journey of Madhya Pradesh.
