Raipur. Taking a step towards financial literacy, the Finance Club of the Faculty of Commerce and Management, Kalinga University organized a highly successful one-day workshop on Income Tax Return (ITR) e-filing. The event held on January 19, 2024 witnessed enthusiastic participation from students and faculty members.
The objective of the workshop is to highlight the complexities of ITR e-filing, provide attendees with valuable insight into the process and empower them with the necessary skills to efficiently navigate the world of income tax returns. The workshop included engaging and interactive sessions, allowing participants to ask questions, seek clarifications and share their own experiences related to income tax filing. Attendees were given a comprehensive guide on how to file their income tax returns online. Practical tips and demonstrations made the process more accessible to participants of varying levels of familiarity with tax filing.
The Finance Club expressed its gratitude to the guest speakers Rajesh Saini, Finance Officer, Kalinga University and Prashant Jha, Assistant Finance Officer. MBA, BBA, B.Com participants and club members contributed to the success of the workshop. Their combined efforts made the program informative and engaging. Initial feedback from participants indicates a positive response to the workshop. The attendees expressed their gratitude for the valuable knowledge gained and practical suggestions shared during the session. Encouraged by the success of this workshop, the Finance Club of Kalinga University plans to organize more such programs in future focusing on various aspects of financial literacy to further enrich the academic and professional journeys of the participants .
