The corporation took immediate action on the complaint of waterlogging on the highway, made the exit easy by breaking the blockage of the main drain

Raipur – Today, on the instructions of Municipal Corporation Raipur Commissioner Vishwadeep, Zone Commissioner Rajeshwari Patel of Municipal Corporation Zone No. 8, in the presence of Zone Health Officer Gopichand Dewangan, Sanitation Inspector Ritesh Jha, made a direct observation to get information about the situation on the spot on the public complaint received regarding the problem of waterlogging due to accumulation of rainwater in the highway road in front of Ram Dharmakanta in Veer Savarkar Nagar Ward No. 1 in Chandandih Marg. During the site inspection, it was learned that the problem of waterlogging persists most of the time near Shri Ram Dharmakanta in the said area on the highway road during monsoon. During the inspection, Zone 8 Zone Commissioner directed the Zone Health Officer and Sanitation Inspector to get the drain cleaned by breaking the blocks built on the main drain to drain the water. As soon as the blocks built on the main drain were broken, the water was drained easily and the public complaint received regarding waterlogging was resolved immediately. Immediately after this, on the instructions of the Municipal Corporation Commissioner, the Municipal Corporation Zone 8 Zone Commissioner, on behalf of the Municipal Corporation Zone 8, wrote a letter to the Officer-in-Charge of the concerned area of ​​the National Highway Authority and asked to take immediate necessary action to resolve the public complaint of waterlogging that occurs mostly during monsoon in the area of ​​Ward No. 1 near Shri Ram Dharmkanta on the highway.
