Complete the works of 15th Finance Commission including PM-Abhiyam within the time limit: Deputy Chief Minister Shukla

Deputy Chief Minister Shri Rajendra Shukla has directed that regular and timely monitoring of development works should be done and completely transparent and quality use of the available budget should be ensured. He said that the government will not allow shortage of budget for development works , the need is that basic health services should be expanded within the time limit. Deputy Chief Minister Shri Shukla did a comprehensive review of departmental infrastructure development works at Secretariat Bhopal. He did an agency-wise in-depth review of the construction works approved under Pradhan Mantri Ayushman Bharat Health Infrastructure Mission (PM-Abhiram) and 15th Finance Commission.Deputy Chief Minister Shri Shukla reviewed the progress of construction work of Singrauli and Budhni Medical College Hospital and directed to speed up the construction work. He said that if there are any administrative or technical hurdles in any work , then they should be resolved soon. He also inquired about the progress of expansion plans of Maihar and Mauganj District Hospitals and said that the construction work in these public welfare schemes should be completed on time with quality.
Called for participation in TB free India campaignWhile reviewing the progress of TB Mukt Bharat Abhiyan, Deputy Chief Minister Shri Shukla said that participation of all sections of society is extremely necessary to make Madhya Pradesh TB free. He appealed to MLAs , MPs , public representatives , departmental officers , industrial groups , voluntary organizations and social workers to join as “Nikshay Mitra”. Deputy Chief Minister Shri Shukla said that every person of the society can discharge sensitivity and responsibility towards the society by becoming a ‘ Nikshay Mitra ‘ to support the treatment and nutrition of patients suffering from TB . This is not just a scheme , but a means of serving suffering humanity.
Special arrangements should be made for the examination of women on 9th and 25th of every monthDeputy Chief Minister Shri Shukla directed to pay special attention to the care of high risk pregnancy women. He said that special arrangements should be made for the examination of identified women on 9th and 25th of every month so that no pregnant woman is deprived of proper facilities. He directed to ensure intensive monitoring system at the district and block level and said that District Collectors and CMHO should also participate directly in this.
Make incentives available to ASHA supervisors soonDeputy Chief Minister Shri Shukla also clarified in the meeting that as per the decision of the Council of Ministers, incentives should be provided to Asha Supervisors soon. He said that the role of Asha workers is important in providing basic health services to the last mile , hence their motivation and encouragement is essential. Project Director Shri Neeraj Singh , Managing Director of National Health Mission Dr. Saloni Sidana were also present on this occasion.
