Tapkara gets new identity: Chief Minister Sai inaugurated Tehsil office, announced to give Nagar Panchayat status
Raipur 28 June 2025: Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai today inaugurated the Tehsildar and Executive Magistrate Office at Tapkara in Jashpur district. It is known that on January 14, during his visit to Jashpur district, the Chief Minister had announced to make Tapkara a full-fledged tehsil. By becoming a tehsil, farmers, students and citizens of 33 villages will get its benefit. On this occasion, Chief Minister Sai announced to make Tapkara a Nagar Panchayat, approve Rs 50 lakh for the beautification of the sports stadium at Tapkara and construction of a rest house in Farasbahar. Chief Minister Sai said that our government is rapidly implementing Modi’s guarantee on every front of development. As soon as the government was formed, 18 lakh houses were approved under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana in the first cabinet. To empower women, 70 lakh women are being given Rs 1,000 per month through the Mahtari Vandan Yojana. To increase the income of tendu leaf collectors, the support price of tendu leaves has been fixed at Rs 5,500 per standard sack. Atal Digital Seva Kendras are being opened to provide banking facilities in the village itself. There is a plan to start it in all the Gram Panchayats on the upcoming Panchayat Day.
The Chief Minister said that for the convenience of the common citizens, the registration process has been made more transparent, simple, digital and citizen-centric by making better use of innovations under 10 new revolutions in the registry. In the program, Collector Rohit Vyas said that the opening of the tehsil office here will provide special convenience to farmers, landowners, students and citizens. He said that the link court of SDM Farasbahar will also start from next Monday. MLA Gomti Sai said in his address that rapid development work is being done in the state under the leadership of Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai. The state government is working with full dedication and commitment for the convenience of the common citizens. On this occasion, District Panchayat Chairman Salik Sai, Municipal Council Vice-Chairman Yash Pratap Singh Judeo, Bharat Sai, Rohit Sai, IG Deepak Kumar Jha, Superintendent of Police Shashi Mohan Singh, Tapkara Sarpanch Savita Jaiswal along with public representatives, officers-employees and a large number of villagers were present.
