Instructions given to survey rain water harvesting in at least 10 houses every day

Raipur- Today, the meeting of the Municipal Corporation Urban Planning and Building Permission Department Advisory Committee was held in the third floor hall of Mahatma Gandhi Sadan, Municipal Corporation Headquarters Building, under the chairmanship of the department’s chairman Manoj Verma, committee member Zone 3 Chairman Sadhana Pramod Sahu, councilors Mr. Khagpati Soni, Krishna Sonkar, Sohan Lal Sahu, Ravi Sonkar, Mahendra Ausar, Vinay Pratap Singh Dhruv, Vinay Pankaj Nirmalkar, Sheikh Mushir, Additional Commissioner Pankaj K. Sharma, Deputy Commissioner Dr. Anjali Sharma, City Investor Aabhas Mishra, Zone Commissioners, Executive Engineers. Chairman of Urban Planning and Building Permission Department Manoj Verma instructed the officials that the team of the Urban Investment Department should survey rain water harvesting in at least 10 houses every day. In the meeting of the Municipal Corporation Urban Planning and Building Permission Department Advisory Committee, the officials of the Urban Investment Department informed the committee member councilors that the Urban Investment Department of Municipal Corporation Raipur has taken action in 329 cases of illegal plotting from the year 2019 to 25 February 2025 under the provision of Section 292 C of the Municipal Corporation Act 1956 and traffic has been obstructed by cutting the Murum Road at the respective illegal plotting site and an information board of illegal plotting has been installed. Similarly, for online building permission for rain water harvesting, from 1 April 2017 to 31 March 2025, for plots of more than 150 square meters, Rs 13 crore 68 lakh 39184 in 6270 residential cases and Rs 10 crore 20 lakh 9007 in 961 commercial cases, a total of Rs 23 crore 88 lakh 48191 has been deposited in the corporation fund.
