
Planted a Maulshree plant in the Good Governance Garden along with the members of the Cabinet
Raipur 08 June 2025- Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai inaugurated the Good Governance Garden at the IIM campus on the evening of the first day of Chintan Shivir 2.0 organized at the Indian Institute of Management Raipur here today. Chief Minister Shri Sai planted a Maulshree plant in the Good Governance Garden along with the members of the Cabinet.
Along with Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai, Deputy Chief Minister Arun Sao and Shri Vijay Sharma, Forest Minister Kedar Kashyap, Finance Shri OP Choudhary, Industry Minister Lakhanlal Devangan, Agriculture Minister Ram Vichar Netam, Food Minister Shri Dayaldas Baghel, Health Minister Shyambihari Jaiswal, Revenue Minister Shri Tankaram Verma, Women and Child Development Minister Smt. Laxmi Rajwade, Secretary to the Chief Minister Shri Rahul Bhagat, Director of IIM Raipur Prof. Ram Kumar Kankani also planted a Maulshree plant in the Good Governance Garden.
Features of Maulshree tree
Maulshree is a fragrant flowering tree found in the Indian subcontinent, South Asia and South-East Asia. It is an evergreen tree which is usually 10-15 meters tall.
Its flowers are small, white or light yellow in color, very fragrant. Their fragrance is even stronger at night. Maulshree tree also has medicinal properties and is used to treat many types of problems. Traditionally it has been planted around temples and in the courtyards of houses.
