Major accident averted in Uttarakhand: Emergency landing of helicopter full of devotees on the road
A shocking news has come out from Rudraprayag district of Uttarakhand. Here a private helicopter developed a technical fault, due to which it had to make an emergency landing on the highway. It is being told that this helicopter was going towards Kedarnath with devotees. After suddenly some technical problem, the pilot had to take the decision to land the helicopter in the middle of the way.During the landing, people present on the road got scared. Suddenly it seemed as if a big accident was about to happen. But luckily the pilot acted wisely and saved the lives of all the devotees. None of the passengers on the helicopter were seriously injured. Although the pilot has suffered minor injuries, but he is also out of danger.
The rear part of the helicopter fell on the car, video also surfaced – A video of this entire incident has also surfaced, in which it can be clearly seen that after landing, the rear part of the helicopter falls on a car parked on the side of the road. The car was badly damaged due to this collision, but there was no person in it, so no one’s life was harmed. Local people and some passersby witnessed this entire incident. Some people also made videos from their mobile and shared them on social media, which is now going viral rapidly. In the video, the emergency landing of the helicopter, dust storm and the rush of people can be clearly seen. According to experts, this helicopter belonged to a private company and was engaged in serving the devotees for Kedarnath. Every year lakhs of devotees go on Chardham Yatra in Uttarakhand and helicopter service has become a big support, but such incidents increase people’s concern.
Police gave information, all the people on board the helicopter are safe – After the incident, the administration immediately took charge. Uttarakhand ADG Law and Order Dr. V. Murugeshan informed the media that this incident is from Guptakashi area of Rudraprayag. He told that due to technical fault in a private helicopter, it had to make an emergency landing on the road. The good thing is that all the people on board the helicopter are safe and no one has suffered serious injuries. The police and local administration reached the spot and handled the situation and controlled the traffic. Along with this, the process of removing the helicopter from there has also been started. The airline company and DGCA (Directorate General of Civil Aviation) are investigating what was the real reason for the technical fault.
