
Naya Raipur, 4th June, 2025: Kalinga University successfully organized a one-day Master of Business Administration (MBA) program for students at its campus today, 04th June 2025. More than 160 students from various colleges/universities attended the program, which became a guiding light for the students. All the students were welcomed in the auditorium by applying tilak and the program started with the lighting of lamps. The keynote speakers of this impressive session organized for aspiring leaders were Srinu K., Regional Head of Central India, NASSCOM, Ms. Yogita Rawat, Assistant General Manager (CSR), Heera Group and Gaurav Khare, Founder, Bank Assist India. Dr. R. Sridhar, Vice Chancellor, Kalinga University delivered the welcome address. He highlighted the importance of MBA for job opportunities. Pankaj Tiwari, Director, Career and Corporate Resource Center (CCRC) discussed with the participants in an interactive session on how to establish oneself as a brand and start thinking like a leader. His session focused on what can be achieved through leadership and how MBA can help them achieve their dreams.
Saurabh Banwar, Manager, CCRC, in a short activity-based session expressed the view that every individual is unique. Srinu K. took a session on future skills and its importance. Dr. Sandeep Gandhi, Registrar, Kalinga University presented an introduction about Kalinga University. Ms. Yogita Rawat gave valuable advice to the students during her session. She emphasized the importance of updating your CV, being honest to yourself, preparing for entry-level jobs and gradually improving skills, grabbing opportunities, she guided that students should practice overcoming fear in the workplace, as no task is unimportant. She suggested that everyone should keep an ice factory in their mind, a steel factory in their heart and a sugar factory in their tongue, treat others with respect and be ready to accept challenges. He also emphasized on making quick decisions as it will benefit at the workplace. He stressed on the need to develop multiple talents and consider situations from different perspectives. Gaurav Khare in his address highlighted the need to be efficient and visionary, develop skills for vocational courses and apply them in real life. Ms. Rudrani Acharya, Trainee, Kalinga University presented the vote of thanks while Ms. Shreya Sharma, Assistant Manager, CCRC moderated the function. The event was organized by the Marketing Department of Kalinga University led by Abhishek Sharma, Director of Admissions and coordinated by team members J Vishal, Manager – Marketing, Ms. Naina Dhamecha, Academic Counsellor, and Ms. Rudrani Acharya, Trainee – Marketing Department in coordination with the Student Welfare Dean team.
