Bhopal. Chief Minister Dr. Mahan Yadav inaugurated Rahgiri Anandotsav with great enthusiasm on the occasion of Makar Sankranti’s Pawan festival on 14th January.
In the joyous festival, Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav encouraged the participants from childhood to fifty-five years of age by taking part in ancient games and cultural programs related to Indian culture.
Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav said that the country is continuously moving on the path of development. New dimensions of development are being established. The government is a government that does good for everyone. He said that the feelings of a poor person should be respected. Festival lovers from all walks of life participated in the procession.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav extended hearty greetings to everyone on the holy festival of Makar Sankranti and prayed for happiness, prosperity and healthy life in everyone’s family. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that festivals have scientific and mythological importance. Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi has created a distinct identity for the country in the world. He said that if the leadership is right then the country definitely moves forward.
The event was conducted with the cooperation of District Administration, Municipal Corporation, Ujjain Development Authority, other government departments and social organizations. In the morning, Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav encouraged the festival goers by walking from Tarantal Square to Kothi and accepted everyone’s greetings and boosted their morale.
Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav was warmly welcomed by the organizers and festival goers of various stalls set up on both sides of the road from Tarantal intersection to Kothi. Mantra chanting by Sanskar Bharti, Club officials including President of Press Club, Body Building, Phaguni Art, Food Zone, Madhav Club, Dance Pratibha, Carpet Miscellaneous Activity, Milking, Cycle Club, Fly Fitness, Ujjain Chaupal, Stanford School Geet Musical Academy, The festival loving citizens of the city enjoyed various types of joyous festival activities by setting up stalls of Sodhani Pathology Lab, Pratikalpa Pallavi Kishan, Sports Zone, Ninad Sarvottam Dang, Sangeet Vikram Vatika Parivar, Vaishya Mahapanchayat, Anand Department, free kite distribution etc. . In Rahgiri, activities of ancient games related to the festive Indian culture from childhood to fifty-five and joyful age were conducted. Passersby enjoyed Poha-Jalebi and various food items through the food zone in Raahgiri. The city’s Raahgiri carnival was full of fun and the young, old and women of the city participated with full enthusiasm. The carnival was organized for the healthy entertainment of the people of the city.
