A Well-Planned Ambush-A tip-off led police to intercept four individuals suspected of transporting drugs from Bilaspur to Mungeli. The Jarhagaon police station and cyber cell teams set up a strategic roadblock near Chhatouna village. The suspects, attempting a nighttime delivery on motorcycles, were apprehended as they approached the checkpoint. Significant Drug Seizure-A search of the suspects uncovered a substantial amount of narcotics. The haul included 51.87 grams of brown sugar (valued at ₹77,805), 26.42 grams of opium (₹26,420), three high-end mobile phones (₹1,04,000), and two motorcycles (₹1,40,000). The total value of the seized goods amounts to ₹3,63,225. This significant seizure underscores the scale of the operation and the determination of the authorities to curb drug trafficking.

 The Accused-The four arrested individuals—Abhishek Devangan (20), Mayank Sahu (19), Rajkumar Devangan (24), and Sahil Thakur (21)—are all residents of Mungeli.
