Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai gave instructions while reviewing the third phase of Sushasan Tihar in Bijapur- Education, drinking water, employment and rehabilitation of surrendered Naxalites should get top priority

Raipur – Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai directed the administrative officers in a high-level review meeting held at Bijapur district headquarters to maintain continuous monitoring and coordination for the effective implementation of public welfare schemes. Chief Secretary Mr. Amitabh Jain, Chief Secretary to the Chief Minister Mr. Subodh Singh, Director General of Police Mr. Arun Dev Gautam and other senior officers were present in the meeting.

Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai reviewed the groundwater level and availability of drinking water sources in Bijapur district. Collector Bijapur informed that tube wells have been dug as per the demand. Chief Minister Sai also directed to work on alternative sources for long-term supply of drinking water.

Chief Minister Sai took detailed information from the officials regarding the quality of education. It was told in the meeting that innovations like summer camp and ‘Bal Shiksha Mitra’ have increased the interest of children in education. Chief Minister Sai stressed on making these efforts more organized and result-oriented.

Chief Minister Sai, while discussing about the Chief Minister Rural Bus Service Scheme to connect rural areas to main roads, said that priority will be given to Bastar and Surguja divisions. In this regard, he directed the collectors of Bijapur and Dantewada to mark the route and send a proposal.

Chief Minister Sai said that proper arrangements should be made for housing, rehabilitation and skill training for surrendered Naxalites. He directed to organize placement camps for employment opportunities in NMDC and private sectors.

Chief Minister Sai talked about evaluating the ground reality by participating himself in the third phase of Sushasan Tihar. He said that in the last one and a half years, most of the promises guaranteed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi have been fulfilled and a decisive battle is being fought against Naxalism in the Bastar region.

Chief Minister Sai talked about connecting the tribal community with works according to their nature for their economic prosperity. He said that Atal Seva Kendra has been inaugurated in many panchayats, due to which now banking services will be available to the villagers in their own villages.

At the end of the meeting, the Chief Minister said that administrative and developmental goals can be achieved only by working with team spirit. He appealed to all the officers to work with this spirit and remain committed to the welfare of the people. Forest Minister Kedar Kashyap along with other public representatives and officials were present in the meeting.
