Irrigation facilities will be made available in every village of the state: Chief Minister Dr. Yadav

Bhopal: Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has said that this is the era of development of Madhya Pradesh. No corner of the state will remain deprived of the light of development. There will be no shortage of funds for development works. Along with activities related to water conservation in the state, our government is also developing irrigation facilities. Our government will provide permanent irrigation facilities in every village of the state. We are moving in this direction in the river linking campaign. Work has started on two big river linking projects. We are working together with the Maharashtra government for the third river linking project. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav was addressing the Jan Samvad program in the inauguration and bhoomi-pujan of development works and Jal Ganga Sanvardhan Abhiyan in Divyagwan of Sirmaur assembly constituency of Rewa district on Thursday. On this occasion, Chief Minister Dr. Yadav inaugurated 5 development works costing a total of Rs 50.73 crore including Government Birsa Munda Mahavidyalaya (cost about Rs 6 crore) in Divyagwan and performed bhoomi-pujan of 2 works. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav also inaugurated 501 new farm ponds constructed at a cost of about Rs 7 crore in Rewa district under the Jal Ganga Conservation Campaign.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that this is a development yagya, it will not stop, it will not pause. He appealed to the regional villagers to cooperate with the government in all development works. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav announced building a new college building in Baikunthpur, Sandipani school in Chaukhandi, making Janpad Panchayat Jawan a municipal council, connecting some selected village groups of Janpad Panchayat Jawan with canals under the irrigation scheme and approving funds for construction of a stop dam here, besides forming a separate Gram Panchayat for the proposed 3 village groups of this district area.
The Chief Minister inaugurated the college which was approved by him as Higher Education Minister
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that our government is working with full force to make higher education better and qualitative. Expressing happiness, he said that as Higher Education Minister, he had approved a college in Divyagwan and today he is inaugurating the same college as Chief Minister. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that 3 thousand students are studying in this college, out of which 80 percent are girls. The Chief Minister said that the government will leave no stone unturned for the all-round development of sisters and daughters. As many schools and colleges as needed will be opened for their education. He said that apart from providing education, copy books, uniforms, cycles, laptops, scooties to the children, our government is also making arrangements for better coaching of the students.
Irrigation area of Rewa district will increase with 501 new farm ponds
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that the state government is committed to increasing the income of farmers. Madhya Pradesh is the only state in the country where work is going on on three major river projects Parvati-Kalisindh-Chambal (PKC), Ken-Betwa Link and Tapi Basin Mega Recharge Project. Development work is being done in the state under Jal Ganga Sanvardhan Abhiyan for conservation of rainwater. In this campaign, 501 new farm ponds inaugurated in Rewa will increase the irrigation area of the district and increase the crop yield. The state government is literally fulfilling all the resolutions of development. He said that our government is promoting cow rearing to increase milk production from 9 percent to 20 percent in the state. Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar Kamdhenu Yojana We will give subsidy to cow rearers. To encourage cattle rearers, the government will now buy cow milk. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that under Kamdhenu Yojana, farmers can rear from 25 cows to a maximum of 200 cows. For this, the government will also give a subsidy of up to 25 percent to the eligible beneficiaries.
Ram Van Gaman Path and Shri Krishna Patheya will be developed to create pilgrimage areas
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that the government has decided that wherever Lord Shri Ram’s feet have touched the ground in the state, the government will develop Shri Ram Van Gaman Path and make these places pilgrimage places. Similarly, wherever Lord Shri Krishna’s pastimes took place, Shri Krishna Patheya will be made there. The Chief Minister said that Chitrakoot is also being developed. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav, while making the people present take a pledge for development, said that the entire countrymen are extremely proud of the valor and valor of the Indian forces that the country has seen in the past. We are proud of our forces and soldiers.
The government will leave no stone unturned for the development of Vindhya region
Deputy Chief Minister Shri Rajendra Shukla said on this occasion that the region has received many gifts today, including the new building of Government Birsa Munda College. He said that this is a government that gives priority to development. Our government will leave no stone unturned for the development of the entire Vindhya region including Rewa district.
Rewa MP Shri Janardan Mishra addressed in the regional Bagheli dialect and thanked Chief Minister Dr. Yadav for the construction of new national highways in Rewa region. Sirmaur MLA Shri Divyaraj Singh placed various demands related to regional development before Chief Minister Dr. Yadav. Rewa district MLA Tyonthar Shri Siddharth Tiwari, MLA Mangawan Engineer Narendra Prajapati, District Panchayat President Smt. Neeta Kol, former MLA Shri Shyamlal Dwivedi, Shri K.P. Tripathi, Shri Virendra Gupta, Dr. Rajendra Mishra, Shri Rajesh Pandey along with local public representatives and a large number of villagers were present in the program.
