Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai reached Muller village of Dantewada district: Sushasan Tihar reached the last corner of Chhattisgarh

Raipur 15 May 2025 – Chief Minister  Vishnu Dev Sai today visited Muller, a very remote and tribal dominated village of Bastar division. This village is one of the last villages located on the border of Dantewada district, where inclusive development work is now being done rapidly under the Niyyad Nellnar Yojana.

The villagers gave a warm welcome to Chief Minister Sai by putting traditional garlands made of Mahua, Ampatti and Gaur Mukut. Chief Secretary Shri Amitabh Jain, Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister Shri Subodh Kumar Singh and Director General of Police Shri Arun Dev Gautam were also greeted with traditional bouquets made of Chhind leaves.

Chief Minister  Sai held a chaupal under the tamarind tree and directly interacted with the villagers. He heard the ground level problems of the villagers and discussed the development priorities. He inspected the ration shop, where he interacted with the beneficiaries and inquired about the regularity, quality, and utilization of ration distribution. During this, he also got the food grains weighed on the spot and saw the ration card of a beneficiary. Chief Minister Shri Sai had a cordial conversation with the children in Anganwadi and inquired about their alphabet knowledge, color recognition etc. and distributed chocolates to the children.

 

Chief Minister  Sai made many important announcements on the spot, which include approval of Rs 4 lakh for the construction of Andal Kosam Mata Temple, establishment of a sub-health center in the village, construction of a connecting road to Nahadi and approval of Rs 5 lakh for the construction of culvert and CC road to connect all the paras of the village. He further said that soon a camp will be organized and action will be taken to make forest rights recognition letter, Aadhar card and Ayushman card.

On this occasion, Chief Minister Sai met Ramshila Nag, a student of Dantewada, who secured 9th position in the 10th board examination of the state, honored her by presenting a flower bouquet and feeding sweets, and wished her a bright future.

This visit of Chief Minister  Sai to village Muller was not only a symbol of the sensitivity of good governance, but also proves that the state government is committed to reach every last person in the state.

Gram Panchayat Muller of Dantewada district: Implementation of schemes is leading to all-round development

It is noteworthy that the remote Gram Panchayat Muller of Dantewada district of Chhattisgarh is writing a new chapter of development. Despite limited resources, the efficient implementation of various government schemes has provided this village a strong foundation towards empowerment, self-reliance and service.

Gram Panchayat Muller, which comes under Bade Bacheli Assembly constituency, is located about 90 km from the district headquarters. A total of 474 people reside in 112 families, out of which 100 percent are people of Madia tribe. Two Anganwadi centers (Balkepara and Patelpara) are operating in the village. 6 women self-help groups are working in the village, out of which Lakshmi group has been provided a tractor from DMF funds. It is being used for farming as well as on rent. Regular supply of ration is being made to BPL cardholder families. There is a provision of home lighting through solar energy in the village. Under the Mahtari Vandan Yojana, women in village Muller are benefiting from the Mahtari Vandan Yojana, due to which they are experiencing self-respect along with financial support. Muller Gram Panchayat is an exemplary example of ground reach and smooth implementation of government schemes in remote tribal areas. Here, continuous and concrete steps are being taken towards development with public participation and administrative promptness.
