Decisive victory against red terror: Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai salutes the courage and dedication of the security forces

Raipur 14 May 2025: Taking the Naxal eradication campaign to a decisive turn, the anti-Naxal operation on the Chhattisgarh-Telangana border was successfully completed. Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai has congratulated the security forces on this historic success and described this decisive achievement as a historic step towards Naxal-free India. Chief Minister Sai said that under the leadership of the illustrious Prime Minister Narendra Modi ji and Union Home Minister Amit Shah ji, we are moving forward with determination to free the country from Naxalism by 31 March 2026. Chief Minister Shri Sai praised the security forces, especially the CRPF, STF and DRG jawans, and said that in this decisive battle against the red terror, our brave soldiers have faced the Naxalites with full bravery in adverse circumstances. I salute their indomitable courage, patience and valor. Chief Minister Sai expressed confidence that the day is not far when Chhattisgarh will be completely Naxal-free, and a new light of peace, prosperity and development will spread in every village of Bastar.

It is noteworthy that Union Home Minister Amit Shah has tweeted that in the biggest anti-Naxal operation ever conducted recently in the inaccessible area of ​​​​Chhattisgarh-Telangana border, the security forces have achieved historic success in the Naxal eradication campaign by killing 31 notorious Naxalites. He said that this area has been a stronghold of strategic planning, Naxal training and weapon manufacturing. Today the tricolor is fluttering proudly on the same mountain – it is a symbol of the victory of India’s internal security and sovereignty. Union Home Minister Amit Shah has said in his official statement that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, we are determined to eradicate Naxalism from its roots. I assure the countrymen again that India is sure to be Naxal-free by March 31, 2026. He said that this operation was completed in just 21 days, and not a single security personnel was martyred in it, which is a proof of our strategy, coordination and bravery. He congratulated the CRPF, STF and DRG personnel for the indomitable courage and discipline shown despite bad weather and difficult geography.

Shah also said that this success is not only a military victory, but also a psychological and ideological victory, which has shaken the backbone of the Naxal network. It gives confidence to the people of the country and especially Chhattisgarh that Naxalism is now in its last stage. He said that the place where red terror once reigned, today the rule of peace, development and constitution has been established under the shadow of the national flag. This operation will set an example as a model operation for the security forces in the times to come. The Union Home Minister praised the coordination between the state and the center and said that it is the result of joint efforts that such a big operation has been successful with zero casualties. The Government of India and security agencies are working with full dedication and capability towards the goal of making the country completely Naxal-free by 2026. Amit Shah said that this goal is no longer just a strategy, it is a national resolve.
