Alert Issued in Uttarakhand Border Areas! CM Holds Meeting, Directs Officials to Stay Vigilant

Uttarakhand: On Friday, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami held a meeting with senior state officials at the Secretariat in light of India’s tough stance against terrorism. During the meeting, the CM instructed all officials to stay fully prepared for any situation and to maintain extra vigilance in the border areas. He also told them to make sure that the administrative units stationed in those regions stay alert at all times. The Chief Minister further directed the officials to ensure that all hospitals across the state have enough life-saving medicines, surgical tools, and other essential medical supplies. He also asked the Food and Civil Supplies Department to guarantee an adequate supply of essential food items, ration, and drinking water throughout the state. CM Dhami added that relief and rescue teams have already been kept ready so they can respond quickly if needed.
Advice to avoid rumors
The Chief Minister urged people to stay away from rumors and directed the Information Department to play an active role in sharing accurate and timely updates with the public. He said that the safety of the people, who are like gods to the government, is the top priority and that the government is fully prepared to deal with any emergency situation. Present during the meeting were Chief Secretary Anand Bardhan, DGP Deepam Seth, Home Secretary Shailesh Bagoli, ADG A.P. Anshuman, and other senior officials.
