Civil security is the top priority of the government: Chief Minister Dr. Yadav

Bhopal: Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav held a high-level meeting on Friday at Samatva Bhavan (Chief Minister’s residence) regarding the security arrangements of the state. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that national security is our ultimate duty and in view of the latest circumstances, the safety of all citizens should be given top priority. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav directed all senior officials to pay special attention to essential civil services, all departments should strengthen their respective arrangements and all necessary precautionary measures for security should be implemented with immediate effect. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav emphasized that any anti-national propaganda should be strictly curbed. Motivate and inform citizens not to pay attention to rumors. Extremely special attention should be paid to the security of important establishments of the central and state government. All measures and requirements of disaster management such as health, fire services should be further strengthened.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav reviewed the latest security arrangements of the state, the status of civil amenities and departmental coordination. He instructed the officials to further improve mutual coordination. It was also said that all departments should be prepared with readiness and alertness for any emergency situation. He said that officers and field staff of all departments related to smooth supply of civil amenities should not go on leave until the situation becomes normal. Chief Secretary Mr. Anurag Jain, Additional Chief Secretary Home Mr. J.N. Kansotia, Additional Chief Secretary Chief Minister’s Office and Water Resources Dr. Rajesh Rajoura, Director General of Police Mr. Kailash Makwana, DG Home Guard Mr. Arvind Kumar, ADG Intelligence Mr. A. Sai Manohar, Additional Chief Secretaries, Principal Secretaries, Secretaries and other senior officers of various departments including military officers were present in the meeting.
