4 accused who wrote satta patti by betting money arrested

Bilaspur. As part of the continuous campaign by the Superintendent of Police, Bilaspur, Santosh Kumar Singh (B.P.S.) to curb the drug trade and those writing Satta Patti fearlessly in open places in the district and to “free” the district from such anti-social elements. Instructions have been given to take action, which will be implemented by Additional Superintendent of Police Bilaspur Rajendra Jaiswal and CSP. Under the direction of (Kotwali) Pooja Kumar (I.P.S.), a campaign was launched to arrest the people involved in betting by patrolling the public places under the police station area. On the basis of the informer’s information, four accused were found writing Satta Patti in public places from different places. Separate action has been taken against the accused and they have been arrested under the provisions of 6A Gambling Act.
