The new education policy is not just a document but a means to re-establish India’s cultural consciousness and self-respect: Chief Minister Dr. Yadav

Bhopal: Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has said that the National Education Policy was implemented on the initiative of Prime Minister Narendra Modi with the aim of freeing the society and the coming generation from the ill effects of Lord Macaulay’s education policy implemented for colonial purposes. It is a matter of pride that Madhya Pradesh has been a pioneer in the country in implementing its provisions. This education policy is not just a document but a means to re-establish the cultural consciousness and self-respect of India. The aim of education is to make a person self-reliant as well as make him realize his pride. The Indian knowledge tradition gives special importance to developing moral values in students from personal events. Historical events like Panna Dhai and Rani Durgavati have contributed significantly in preserving the rich cultural heritage. It is necessary to include such inspirational teachings in the current education system. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav was addressing the dialogue series organized in Kushabhau Thackeray Auditorium on the topic of value-based and employment-oriented education for a strong India and prosperous Madhya Pradesh under the Niti Samvad-2025 series organized by Madhya Pradesh State Policy Commission. Senior education thinker Dr. Indresh Kumar expressed his views on the subject.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav inaugurated the program by lighting the lamp and worshipping Saraswati. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav also released the Niti Samvad booklet. Deputy Chief Minister Jagdish Devda, Higher Education Minister Inder Singh Parmar, School Education Minister Rao Uday Pratap Singh, Minister of State for Skill Development and Employment Gautam Tetwal and Additional Chief Secretary Sanjay Shukla were present in the program. Chief speaker Dr. Indresh Kumar said that only culture and life values bring real change in a person. Many problems can be solved by freeing man from violence, illiteracy and disorder and creating an environment of harmony, equality and unity in the society. He said that under the leadership of Chief Minister Dr. Yadav, his cabinet and public servants are striving to establish Madhya Pradesh as an ideal state. This committed effort of the entire team will make Madhya Pradesh shine as a diamond on the head of the world.
The government is working with the goal of “Sanskar (culture) in every village, skill in every hand and self-confidence in every mind”: Deputy Chief Minister Jagdish Devda Deputy Chief Minister Jagdish Devda said that with the aim of moving towards Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of a developed India, all dimensions of the National Education Policy are being effectively implemented in the state under the leadership of Chief Minister Dr. Yadav. The foundation of nation-building is laid only when education is linked to sanskar. He thanked Chief Minister Dr. Yadav for renaming 276 CM Rise Schools started for quality education in the state as Sandipani Vidyalaya. Along with education, digital literacy is also being expanded in the state. We are working with the goal of “Sanskar (culture) in every village, skill in every hand and self-confidence in every mind”. Additional Chief Secretary Sanjay Shukla presented the outline of the Niti Samvad Series program. Policy makers, educationists, administrative officers and representatives of educational institutions participated in the program.
