Uttarakhand: Union Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan arrived on Uttarakhand tour, held an important meeting with CM Dhami, agriculture will get big help from the Center Union Agriculture and Rural Development Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan is on a tour of Uttarakhand these days. MSP can be available on Jhangora Chief Minister Dhami put forward some important demands to help the farmers—like fixing the minimum support price (MSP) on Jhangora, increasing wages under MNREGA, increasing the assistance amount of PM Awas Yojana and approving 600 km of roads under the fourth phase of Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana (PMGSY). On all these, the Union Minister assured to take positive steps soon keeping in mind the needs of the Himalayan states. ‘House of Himalayas’ will get international recognition It was also decided in the meeting that ‘House of Himalayas’ will be given global recognition. Along with this, the state and the Center will work together to further strengthen the women self-help groups and set up a supply chain in the villages.
