Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai will discuss with officials on 15th and 16th April
Raipur 10th April 2025: With the aim of making the country Naxal-free by March 2026, the state government is preparing a road map for the integrated development of entire Bastar. Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai himself will discuss this matter with the Secretary of the concerned department, Commissioner, Collector and stakeholders working in that area in Jagdalpur on 15th and 16th April. Chief Minister Sai will discuss four topics related to agriculture, animal husbandry, fisheries and related subjects, industrialization and employment, promotion of tourism, skill development, providing employment to youth in Bastar and other areas with the officials posted in Bastar and various stakeholders working in that area in Jagdalpur on 15th April.
Chief Minister Shri Sai will also review various schemes with the Collector, Superintendent of Police, Chief Executive Officer, District Panchayat and Forest Division officials of Bastar Division on 16th April. In this regard, the Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister, Subodh Kumar Singh has issued a letter to the Secretaries of Agriculture, Commerce and Industry, Tourism, Skill Development Department and the Commissioners and Collectors of Bastar Division and directed them to make necessary preparations. He has said that a roadmap for the development of all the districts of Bastar should be prepared so that the pace of development in Naxal-affected areas, especially in Bastar Division, increases rapidly. For this, the previously prepared document Vision @2047 “Nava Anjor” should also be reviewed and the points mentioned in it should be incorporated. Shri Subodh Kumar Singh has said that the concerned departmental secretaries will be the coordinators of these meetings and presentations. They will coordinate with the Divisional Commissioner, Bastar and invite all stakeholders for discussion. About one hour of discussion time has been set aside on each topic.
