Raipur 6 April 2025: Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai today attended the assumption of charge and felicitation ceremony of Bhupendra Savnani, the newly appointed Chairman of Chhattisgarh State Renewable Energy Development Agency (CREDA). On this occasion, the Chief Minister congratulated Savnani for the new responsibility. He said that the role of CREDA is very important in the overall development of Chhattisgarh in the field of renewable energy. He expressed confidence that under the leadership of Savnani, clean and renewable energy will be promoted in the state and this sector will reach new heights. Chief Minister Sai said that the state government is committed to promoting green energy and in the coming time this sector will become a major base for employment, environment and economic empowerment. He also informed that the government is giving special attention to solar energy and other alternative energy sources through various schemes. After assuming charge, Bhupendra Savnani expressed his gratitude to the Chief Minister, all the special guests and invitees and said that he will fulfill this responsibility with full loyalty, dedication and transparency. He said that his aim is to bring Chhattisgarh in the category of leading states of the country in the field of renewable energy. On this occasion, Chhattisgarh Legislative Assembly Speaker Dr. Raman Singh, Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Sharma, Forest Minister Kedar Kashyap, Agriculture Minister Ramvichar Netam, MLAs Motilal Sahu, Anuj Sharma, Sampat Agarwal, Dharamlal Kaushik, Pawan Say, Energy Department Secretary Dr. Rohit Yadav, CREDA Chief Executive Officer Rajesh Rana, and newly appointed chairmen of other corporations and boards and dignitaries were present.
