Raipur. The 193rd birth anniversary of Mata Savitri Bai Phule was celebrated in Vrindavan Hall by the social organization Unity for Social Justice. In this program, chief guest IAS Mahadev Kavre, special guest Labor Court Judge SL Matre, key speaker senior advocate Janmejay Sona, key speaker educationist Jitendra Suna from Odisha state, senior social worker Mahendra Gajbhiye, Indian Safai Karmachari Federation State President Nilesh Langote, youth Advocate Leekesh Singh and youth advocate Gana and other youth were present. In this program, a speech competition was organized by the participants on the contribution of India’s first woman teacher, Mata Savitri Bai Phule, in women empowerment and social awakening, in which students from the entire state participated. In the competition, Shruti Meshram of Rajnandgaon became the first winner, Aditi Aggarwal working in All India Radio became the second winner and young woman advocate Gayatri Sahu became the third winner. In this program, the guests highlighted the contribution made by Mata Savitri Phule towards women empowerment and education for women. Chief guest of the program, IAS Mahadev Kavre said that the father of women education is Mata Savitri Bai Phule. The contribution of Mata Savitri Bai Phule cannot be forgotten for today’s empowered educated women in the country. It is necessary for half the population to be educated for the development of the country. The Labor Court judge and all the guests attending the program also threw light on the life struggle of Mata Savitri Phule. Certificates, study material and prizes were distributed to all the participants.
