Enterprises that do not update themselves with technology are left behind. Today, the criteria of success can be met only by adopting new technology. Technology will also play a big role in creating a developed India and a developed Chhattisgarh. Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai said this while addressing entrepreneurs, professors and students of IIT Bhilai at the IIT Bhilai and Chhattisgarh Industry Conclave: Vision Vikasit Bharat 2047 organized in the capital Raipur. MoU signed for setting up a research park in Dantewada An MoU was also signed between IIT Bhilai and Dantewada District Administration for setting up a research park in Dantewada at the IIT Bhilai and Chhattisgarh Industry Conclave. This conclave focuses on promoting technological advancement and healthy competition of regional industries with the support of the world of education. Chhattisgarh’s role is important in realizing the dream of Developed India 2047: Chief Minister Chief Minister Sai said that I am very happy that Chhattisgarh Industries Conclave is being organized by IIT Bhilai keeping in mind the goal of ‘Vision Developed India 2047’. The role of Chhattisgarh is very important in realizing the dream of Developed India that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has seen. We all have to contribute together for a developed Chhattisgarh. Chief Minister Sai said that Chhattisgarh is rich in every respect. It has abundant forest wealth and mineral resources. Our state is called the ‘Rice Bowl’ and the farmers here are hardworking. Vision 2047 Document and New Industrial Policy 2024-30 implemented
Chief Minister Sai informed that for a developed Chhattisgarh, the state government has prepared Vision Document 2047 and a new Industrial Policy 2024-2030 has been implemented. In this policy, all sections have been made partners in the development, in which special facilities have been given to Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Divyangjan and other sections. He said that the government has a special focus on employment generation. Industries are being promoted through bespoke policy and single window system. This new policy is getting good response from investors. Increasing interest of investors, proposals worth Rs 3700 crore received Chief Minister Sai said that investors are now getting attracted towards Chhattisgarh. Recently, in the Invest Connect Meet held in Bengaluru, Chhattisgarh has received investment proposals worth Rs 3700 crore. Invest Connect Meets were also organised in New Delhi and Mumbai, in which investors have shown enthusiasm about investing in Chhattisgarh. Growing steps in green energy, textile and IT sector Chief Minister Sai said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi is laying special emphasis on green energy. Chhattisgarh government is also moving rapidly in this direction. Along with this, investment proposals have been received in textile and IT sector as well. He expressed confidence that Chhattisgarh will move ahead at a rapid pace in the field of industrial development. Special focus on skilling, youth will get employment Chief Minister Sai said that along with promoting industries, the state government is also actively working on skill upgradation so that the youth of the state can get employment opportunities. On this occasion, Director of IIT Bhilai Professor Rajiv Prakash, President of CII Chhattisgarh Sanjay Jain, Amar Parwani, professors and students of IIT Bhilai and other dignitaries were present.
