CM Pushkar Singh Dhami Makes a Big Leap to 32nd Spot in India’s Most Powerful List – Check Who Else Made It!

Uttarakhand : Uttarakhand CM Pushkar Singh Dhami Jumps to 32nd Spot in India’s Most Powerful List. Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has made a significant leap in the list of India’s 100 Most Powerful Personalities, securing the 32nd position this year. Last year, he was ranked 61st, marking a remarkable rise in influence. The list, released by The Indian Express, evaluates leaders across different fields based on their impact and achievements over the past year. The publication credits Dhami’s rise in rankings to his decisive governance, especially the implementation of the Uniform Civil Code (UCC) in Uttarakhand. According to The Indian Express, Uttarakhand’s UCC has become a blueprint for other states, with Gujarat already forming a committee to follow suit.

The newspaper also highlights Dhami’s role in restoring political stability in Uttarakhand. Between 2017 and 2022, the state saw three different Chief Ministers, but under Dhami’s leadership, the political landscape has stabilized. His government has also been praised for boosting tourism through major initiatives like hosting the National Games.

Evaluating Dhami’s leadership, the report notes that under him, the BJP has achieved strong performances in Lok Sabha and local body elections, with his next major goal being the 2027 Assembly Elections. At 49 years old, Dhami is among the youngest political figures in the top 50 of the list. Every year, The Indian Express ranks 100 of India’s most influential people, spanning politics, governance, business, entertainment, and sports. This year, Prime Minister Narendra Modi secured the top spot, followed by Home Minister Amit Shah in second place and RSS Chief Mohan Bhagwat at fourth. The list also features business magnates like Mukesh Ambani and Gautam Adani, sports icons like Viswanathan Anand, Rohit Sharma, and Virat Kohli, as well as film stars including Shah Rukh Khan, Amitabh Bachchan, Vijay, and Allu Arjun. Several Chief Ministers from states like Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra, and Andhra Pradesh, along with prominent opposition leaders, have also been included.
