Special attention on the progress of state capital Bhopal: Chief Minister Dr. Yadav

Bhopal: Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has said that Bhopal is the capital of Madhya Pradesh. The capital region will progress rapidly. Recently, Global Investors Summit was organized in Bhopal. It is necessary to keep organizing such important events in Bhopal city. In Bhopal, other facilities including housing facilities are also being developed in the urban area. In future, metropolitan area will be developed by combining areas of Sehore, Vidisha, Narmadapuram, Raisen etc. with Bhopal. It is necessary to develop various types of facilities in view of future needs. The state government will work continuously in this direction. For overall development in the entire state, work will be completed in accordance with the resolution of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi of Developed India 2047.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that Bhopal is the most beautiful and clean capital of the country. Prime Minister Mr. Modi stayed overnight here at the Global Investors Summit. He also provided guidance to entrepreneurs and investors. The state government has imagined a new way of development by connecting the ‘city of lakes’ with five cities. In this way, two metropolitan cities Bhopal and Indore will take shape in Madhya Pradesh. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that in line with the resolution of Prime Minister Mr. Modi for a developed India, the state government is also working on the vision of 2047. With the aim of developing Bhopal and Indore as metropolitan cities in the next 25 years, a plan is being made keeping in mind basic amenities like cleanliness, drinking water, sewer and roads. Prime Minister Mr. Modi has given special grant to Madhya Pradesh in the Smart City Project. His dream is that every poor and needy person should have his own concrete house. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav was addressing the inauguration ceremony of 364 newly constructed G-type houses in the first phase of the Bhopal Smart City Development Corporation project located at Tatya Tope Nagar (TT Nagar) in Bhopal on Tuesday evening.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that the newly constructed government housing complex in Tatya Tope Nagar will be named Bharat Ratna Late Atal Bihari Vajpayee Complex. Here, 364 G type housing houses constructed at a cost of 116.26 crores in the first phase of the housing project were inaugurated. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav handed over the keys of their government houses to Mrs. Seema Tiwari, Mrs. Kalpana Gurjar, Mrs. Sangeeta Uike, Mr. Raghavendra Singh. Along with this, he instructed the officials of Bhopal Municipal Corporation to complete the construction work of F-type housing in the next two to three months in the second phase of this project. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav congratulated and wished the people present in the program on Rangpanchami.

Linking Indian culture and traditions with nature, Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that India has been attracting the world like the Sun for thousands of years. Since ancient times, sages have linked every festival of Sanatan culture with nature. Amritkaal is going on in the country during the tenure of Prime Minister Shri Modi, which makes us all feel the joy and enthusiasm like the spring season in life. If families come to live in these government houses of Smart City, it will be a different kind of joy. Prime Minister Shri Modi is concerned about providing a permanent house to everyone. The central and state governments have started a scheme in rural and urban areas so that everyone has their own house. People are also getting subsidy in the interest of housing loan.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that the state government has taken special care of every section in the last one and a quarter years. In the coming 5 years, there will be appointments on 2.5 lakh posts in different departments. The government employees of the state will get the benefit of allowances equal to the 7th pay scale from April 1. Last year, 4% DA was approved twice for the employees. The government is making efforts so that the employees can also get the benefit of promotion. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that the state government is moving ahead with the goal of developed Madhya Pradesh by 2047. Per capita income has increased in Madhya Pradesh in the last few years. In the year 2002 – 2003, where the per capita annual income was only 11 thousand rupees, it has now increased to 1 lakh 52 thousand 680 rupees annually. This year the government has presented a public welfare budget of 4 lakh 21 thousand crore rupees. This budget will increase to 7 lakh crore in five years and 250 lakh crore in the next 25 years and the per capita income of Madhya Pradesh will also increase to 22 lakh annually. The state government has set the goal of prosperity for every citizen.

Minister of State for Urban Development and Housing Smt. Pratima Bagri and MLA Shri Bhagwandas Sabnani also addressed the program. Smt. Bagri said that in urban areas, development work is being done for the poor as well as other sections, including housing arrangements. The employees of Bhopal were waiting to move to new houses in place of old government houses after the development of Smart City. MLA Shri Sabnani said that this is an important step for the benefit of the employees who have been waiting for government housing since 2016. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav is committed to rapid development from a public welfare point of view.

MLA Shri Rameshwar Sharma, Bhopal Mayor Smt. Malti Rai, Bhopal Municipal Corporation Chairman Shri Kishan Suryavanshi, Shri Ravindra Yati, Additional Chief Secretary of Urban Development and Housing Department Shri Sanjay Kumar Shukla, Bhopal Municipal Corporation Commissioner Shri Harendra Narayan along with other senior officers and officials, citizens, officials of employee organizations and government employees were present in large numbers in the program.

Bhopal’s first RRR vehicle inaugurated

After the program, Chief Minister Dr. Yadav flagged off Bhopal’s first RRR (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle) vehicle started by Bhopal Municipal Corporation after its inauguration in the residential complex on Tuesday evening. Through this vehicle, unusable papers will be collected from the offices and useful papers will be provided in return.
