Members danced to the phaag songs of the ministers and MLAs, Dr. Surendra Dubey’s poems and cultural presentations set the mood
Raipur, March 12, 2025: A colourful Holi Milan ceremony was organized in the Assembly premises today, in which Assembly Speaker Dr. Raman Singh, Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai, Leader of Opposition Dr. Charandas Mahant and all the MLAs applied color and gulal to each other and wished Holi. The entire atmosphere of the event was drenched in the joy of Holi. Ministers and MLAs gave a captivating presentation of traditional phaag songs, on which the assembly members were seen dancing. The assembly premises resonated with the phaag songs of the ministers and MLAs, a special color of folk tradition was seen in the Holi Milan ceremony. The phaag songs sung by the ministers and MLAs gave a glimpse of cultural prosperity in the assembly premises. Revenue Minister Tankram Verma played the mouth flute and gave a melodious rendition of the song Chhote se Shyam Kanhaiya. MLA Anuj Sharma enthralled the audience by singing the songs Ka Tai Mohini Daal Diye Re and Rang Barse. MLA Kunwar Singh Nishad hummed the songs Phagun Mast Mahina and Chana Ke Daar Raja. MLA Dilip Lahariya mesmerized the audience by singing the songs Nadiya Ke Paar Ma, Kadli Kachhar Ma. MLA Ramkumar Yadav and Smt. Chaturi Nand also enthralled the audience with their Phaag songs.
Dr. Surendra Dubey’s poems and cultural presentations added colours to the Holi. Popular poet Dr. Surendra Dubey mesmerized everyone with his humour and colourful poems on Holi. Apart from this, Rakesh Tiwari and his team enthralled the audience with their colourful cultural presentations. Assembly Speaker Dr. Raman Singh and Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai honoured Dr. Surendra Dubey, Rakesh Tiwari and their team. On this occasion, Deputy Chief Minister Arun Saw, Forest Minister Kedar Kashyap, Agriculture Minister Ramvichar Netam, Health Minister Shyam Bihari Jaiswal, Food Minister Dayaldas Baghel, Labor Minister Lakhanlal Dewangan, MLAs Ajay Chandrakar, Dharmalal Kaushik, Purandar Mishra Dharmjeet Singh, Motilal Sahu, Sushant Shukla, Sandeep Sahu, Guru Khuswant Sahib, Bhaiyalal Rajwada, Ishwar Sahu, Kunwar Singh Nishad, Rakesh Sen, Ramkumar Yadav, Mrs. Bhavana Bohar, Yogeshwar Raju Sinha, Atal Shrivastava Lalit Chandrakar along with Assembly officers, employees and other dignitaries were present.
