Action will be taken on the suggestions received in the Consultative Committee meeting: Energy Minister Shri Tomar

Bhopal: Energy Minister Shri Pradyuman Singh Tomar has said that necessary action will be taken on the suggestions given by the MLAs in the meeting of the Advisory Committee of the Energy Department. He said that everyone’s guidance will prove useful for the department.
Energy Minister Shri Tomar said that the RDSS scheme will be reviewed division wise. In the review, MLAs will also be connected online. He said that giving meter based connections will be considered. Minister Shri Tomar said that the Energy Department is number one in resolving the problems coming in the CM Helpline. He said that there is sufficient electricity available in the state to meet the ever increasing demand of electricity in agriculture and other sectors.
Additional Chief Secretary Energy Mr. Neeraj Mandloi gave information about the work done by the department in the last one year. He informed that at present the state’s share in the total power generation capacity in Madhya Pradesh is 23 thousand 788 megawatt. In the last 5 years, per capita power consumption in the state has increased from 1086 units to 1332 units. This is indicative of the development of the state.
In the meeting, Tikamgarh MLA Shri Yadavendra Singh, Katangi MLA Shri Gaurav Singh Pardhi, Pipariya MLA Shri Thakurdas Nagvanshi and Kalapipal MLA Shri Ghanshyam Chandravanshi gave important suggestions regarding improvement in the work of the Energy Department. They also informed about the regional problems.
Deputy Secretary Energy Shri Mandar Puranik gave detailed information about the progress of departmental schemes through a power point presentation. MD Madhya Kshetra Vidyut Vitran Company Shri Kshitij Singhal and other officers were present on this occasion.
