Big action by ED, treasure at former MLA’s house
Yamunanagar The action of the Enforcement Directorate has created a stir in the entire country. In the latest episode, ED’s swift action in many districts of Haryana since Thursday morning has created panic among mining businessmen. So far, Rs 5 crore in cash, 5 kg of gold, foreign weapons and 300 live cartridges have been recovered in the raids at the premises of INLD leader Dilbag Singh.
ED is in action after the illegal mining cases registered after the court order. ED teams also knocked simultaneously at the house, office and various locations of former Yamunanagar MLA and INLD leader Dilbag Singh. Dilbagh Singh and the mining businessmen who came in contact with him are being interrogated. In the raid that has been going on for the last 24 hours, Dilbagh Singh has so far recovered Rs 5 crore from the hideouts, along with this he has also seized 5 kg of gold and illegal weapons.
Raid on locations of BJP and Congress leaders also
Apart from Yamunanagar, ED teams are also conducting raids in Faridabad, Sonipat, Karnal, Mohali and Chandigarh. Apart from this, the ED team has also reached the house of Congress MLA Surendra Panwar and his associate Suresh Tyagi in Sonipat. ED has raided the house of BJP leader Manoj Wadhwa in Karnal. BJP leader Manoj Wadhwa’s house is in Sector 13, where the ED team is scanning the documents. Manoj Wadhwa is associated with mining business in Yamunanagar. He had contested elections against Manohar Lal in 2014, during that time he was in INLD.
