Bhopal – Due to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to Bhopal, traffic arrangements will be modified as needed today. Special consideration has been given to students appearing for board exams, ensuring that their vehicles can pass without obstruction.
Route Changes for Heavy and Commercial Vehicles (From 8 AM onwards)
During the movement from Raj Bhavan to Indira Gandhi Manav Sangrahalaya, all heavy, commercial, and permitted vehicles will be rerouted:
- Restricted routes: Roshanpura to Polytechnic Square, Gandhi Park to Machli Ghar, Retghat to Kamla Park, Scout Guide Square to Polytechnic Square, and Akashvani to Bharat Bhavan.
Changes for Two-Wheelers & Four-Wheelers (From 8 AM onwards)
- Vehicles moving from Roshanpura towards Retghat and Control Room Square should use Link Road No. 1, 1250-Satpura District Court Square, Old Police Control Room, Talaiya, and Moti Masjid as alternate routes.
Diversions for Passenger Buses (From 8 AM onwards)
- Buses traveling to and from Indore and Ujjain will only be allowed to enter via Halalpur Bus Stand, where their journey will terminate.
- Buses coming from Rajgarh and Biaora towards Halalpur Bus Stand must take the Mubarakpur Bypass, Khajuri Bypass, and Bairagarh Road.
- Buses traveling from Rajgarh-Biaora to Nadra Bus Stand should take the Mubarakpur Bypass, Gandhi Nagar Square, Karond, Best Price Square, and JP Nagar Square.
Complete Restrictions for Heavy and Commercial Vehicles (From 8 AM onwards)
- No movement will be allowed on Polytechnic Square to Kamla Park, Retghat, VIP Road, Lalghati, Gandhi Nagar Square, and back to Polytechnic Square.
Alternative Routes for General Traffic
- For vehicles heading towards Bairagarh, Raja Bhoj Airport, and Rajgarh-Biaora:
- Use Bharat Mata Square, Bhadbhada Square, Sakshi Dhaba Square, Neelbad Square, take a right towards Nathubar Kheda Road, Mugaliya Chhap, Khajuri Road, and Mubarakpur Square.
- For Sehore and Indore-bound vehicles:
- Use Bharat Mata Square, Bhadbhada Square, Sakshi Dhaba Square, Neelbad, Ratibad, and Jhagaria.
- For those traveling from Bhopal towards Sehore-Indore, Rajgarh-Biaora, and Raja Bhoj Airport:
- Use Prabhat Square, JK Road, Ratnagiri, Ayodhya Bypass, Bhanpur, Karond Square, New Jail, and Gandhi Nagar Square.
- For airport-bound vehicles:
- Follow Bharat Mata Square, Bhadbhada Square, Sakshi Dhaba Square, Neelbad, Nathubar Kheda Road, Mugaliya Chhap, Khajuri Road, and Mubarakpur Square.
These changes are in place to ensure smooth movement during the Prime Minister’s visit. Travelers are advised to plan accordingly to avoid delays.
