New MP Board Exam Rule: No Early Submission of Answer Sheets Allowed

New Exam Rules: MP Board Tightens Guidelines to Prevent Cheating

Gwalior – In the MP Board’s Class 10 and 12 exams, students will not be allowed to submit their answer sheets before completing at least two hours of the exam. If a student finishes early and wants to leave, their answer sheet will not be accepted. After the two-hour mark, students can submit their answer sheets, but only if they also turn in their question papers. Only then will they be permitted to leave the exam hall. The question paper will be returned to them after the exam time ends.

Rule Introduced to Curb Cheating

This guideline has been implemented to prevent cheating. Often, individuals associated with cheating rackets wait outside exam centers. If a student leaves early with their question paper, these groups could use it to provide answers to other students. To curb this practice, the board has made it mandatory that no student can submit their answer sheet before two hours. Even after that, they must submit their question paper as well.

Cheating Disposal Box at Exam Centers

If a student happens to bring unauthorized notes into the exam hall and later wants to dispose of them to avoid being caught, a special box will be placed at the center. Students can drop any such material in this box without facing any consequences. Additionally, unnecessary items will not be allowed near exam rooms to prevent their misuse.

No Extra Answer Sheets Will Be Provided

Earlier, students were given additional answer sheets if they finished their main booklet. However, the board has now discontinued this practice. Previously, the main answer sheet contained eight pages, but it has now been expanded to 12 pages. Therefore, no supplementary copies will be issued to students. These changes have been introduced to ensure a fair and smooth examination process while maintaining strict monitoring against unfair practices.
