Urban planning will get a boost from the ‘Naksha’ program, land related disputes will reduce: Chief Minister Dr. Yadav

Bhopal: Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has said that today a pilot project of land survey (map) of urban settlements has been started at the national level from the land of Raisen. This initiative of the government will empower the citizens in urban areas and make their lives easier. It will also enhance urban planning and reduce land related disputes. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav was addressing the national program of urban land survey “Naksha” in Raisen. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav and Union Agriculture and Farmer Welfare and Rural Development Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chauhan inaugurated the City Survey Program by flying a drone.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that land is the most valuable asset, therefore accurate and transparent records are necessary for security and financial stability. Under the Naksha program, land records will be created and modernized by conducting surveys through drones in urban areas, which will ensure transparency and efficiency of land ownership. He said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, India’s respect has increased in the world. The Prime Minister is continuously working for public welfare and development. He said that Prime Minister Shri Modi has started the Ken-Betwa Link Project. Work is being done prominently in the direction of providing adequate water for irrigation to every plot. Due to the farmer brothers getting adequate water for irrigation, productivity increases, the income of our farmer brothers is increasing. This year wheat will be procured from farmers at the rate of Rs 2600 per quintal.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that the government is providing many facilities to promote industries. Our government is providing employment to the youth by setting up new factories. He said that milk production is also being promoted in the state. Cowherds who rear more than ten cows will be given grants by the government. Apart from this, the government is making our mothers and sisters self-reliant by connecting them with self-help groups. Our Madhya Pradesh is a green state. Agricultural productivity has increased in the state due to continuous increase in irrigation area after the year 2003-04. Before the year 2003, where there was 7 lakh hectares of irrigated area in the state, today more than 48 lakh hectares of area is irrigated in the state. He said that our target is to irrigate one lakh hectares of area in the state. We will achieve this target with 3 big river linking projects and other major irrigation projects in the state.

National Programs The “Naksha” is not only of Raisen and Madhya Pradesh, but of the whole country: Union Minister Shri Chauhan

Union Agriculture Minister Shri Chauhan said that the program being held in Raisen today is not just a program of Raisen and the state, but of the entire country. Today, from Raisen, the Urban Land Survey “Naksha” pilot project is being started in 152 urban local bodies of 26 states and 3 Union Territories of the country. He said that the survey will be done by drones in urban areas and a map will be prepared and given to the land owner. Many problems arise due to lack of a map. Now citizens will have a systematic record of their land. A revolution has started in the field of land records under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Modi.

Union Agriculture Minister Shri Chauhan said that today the watershed program is being started in the whole of Madhya Pradesh. Water is the basis of life and our life is dependent on water and land. Today the ground water level is continuously going down, the wells which once had water at 30 to 50 feet, today the water level there has gone below 100 feet. This watershed scheme has been started to stop this water. Many water structures including check dams, stop dams, bori bandhan will be built to stop the water of the fields in the fields and the water of the village in the village. A provision of Rs 8 thousand crore has been made for this. Panchayats doing good work will be encouraged. This is the vision of Prime Minister Shri Modi. It is important to save water. He appealed to all the citizens to contribute by participating in the watershed campaign.

Union Agriculture Minister Shri Chauhan said that now the Ladli sisters have to be made Lakhpati sisters. Sisters are being made self-reliant by connecting them with self-help groups. He said that for the welfare of the poor, the benefits of the government schemes are being extended to every needy person. 11 lakh Pradhan Mantri Awas are being built in Madhya Pradesh. The work of adding the names of the eligible people left out in Awas Plus is being done. The housing survey is now being done again.

There will be clarity in ownership in urban areas: Union Minister of State Shri Pemmasani

In the program, Union Minister of State for Rural Development and Communications Dr. Chandrashekhar Pemmasani said that the progress of the country begins with clarity. There should be clarity in vision, clarity in governance and clarity in land ownership as well. Lack of clarity in land ownership in urban areas hindered development. There were economic obstacles in business, disputes in families increased, encroachments increased and development projects remained stalled. Lack of ownership is not just a problem of governance but also an obstacle in the dreams and hopes of crores of people. Today, a historic step has been taken to solve all these problems. The map program is not just a scheme, it is a change for urban India. Under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Modi and Union Agriculture Minister Shri Chauhan, our government is committed that every city, every colony and every house gets safe and transparent land ownership. Cities will be safe and organized with modern technology in the map program. Maps will be made through drone survey and every resident will get a systematic map and document of his land ownership. Citizens’ confidence will increase that their house, shop, land is safe.

Sanchi MLA Dr. Prabhuram Chaudhary also addressed the program. Union Secretary Land Resources Shri Manoj Joshi gave detailed information about the ‘Naksha’ program. Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Fishermen Welfare and Fisheries Development of the state and Minister in charge of the district Shri Narayan Singh Pawar expressed his gratitude.

Map Standard Operating Procedure SOP booklet and Map Flyer released

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav, Union Agriculture Minister Shri Chauhan and Union Minister of State for Rural Development and Communication Dr. Pemmasani released the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) booklet and map flyer under the map pilot program. Along with this, the video of the map program and watershed program was also launched. In the program, the Chief Minister and the Union Minister also interacted with intellectuals.

Watershed Yatra was flagged off and inaugurated

At the launch of the Urban Land Survey “Naksha” pilot project held in Raisen, Chief Minister Dr. Yadav, Union Agriculture Minister Shri Chauhan and Union Minister of State for Rural Development and Communication Dr. Pemmasani flagged off the Watershed Yatra in Madhya Pradesh. Through this Yatra, the general public will be made aware about soil-water conservation and development of watershed structures in 36 districts, 1268 villages and 73 blocks of the state.

Minister of State for Public Health and Medical Education Mr Narendra Shivaji Patel, Bhojpur MLA Mr Surendra Patwa, District Panchayat Chairman Mr Yashwant Meena, former minister Mr Rampal Singh, Municipal Council Chairman Mrs Savita Sen, Joint Secretary Mr Kunal Satyarthi and a large number of citizens were present in the program.
