Everyone should get the benefit of government schemes – Chief Minister Dr. Yadav

Bhopal: Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has said that public welfare is our top priority, our biggest goal. We are moving forward towards this goal through schemes. Therefore, ensure that no eligible person of the state is deprived of the benefits of government schemes. Every citizen should actively participate in the development of the state. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav gave these instructions in the review meeting of beneficiary-oriented schemes of various departments in the ministry on Tuesday. He said that all needy beneficiaries should be given immediate benefits as per their eligibility.
Chief Secretary Mr. Anurag Jain, Additional Chief Secretary Chief Minister’s Office Dr. Rajesh Rajoura, Additional Chief Secretary Home Mr. J.N. Kansotia, Additional Chief Secretary Higher Education Mr. Anupam Rajan, Additional Chief Secretaries, Principal Secretaries, Secretaries and other senior officers of various departments were present in the meeting.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav told the officials that the targets set for this financial year should be achieved on time. The implementation of the schemes should be reviewed daily so that no deserving beneficiary is left out from getting the benefits. All departments should conduct continuous review at their level so that every eligible person gets the benefits of the schemes. Ensure that the benefits of the schemes reach the beneficiaries on time without any hindrance or delay.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav also said that beneficiary-oriented schemes are a bridge of trust between the government and the public. Only through their effective implementation, the public experiences the sensitivity of the government. He instructed the officials that the schemes which are to be fully saturated should be completed soon. Also, in the schemes financed by banks, beneficiary-oriented cases should be sent in much more numbers than the target before the stipulated time, so that maximum number of people can get benefits.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav also asked the departmental officers to ensure that in the coming financial year 2025-26, financial provision equal to or more than the current financial year 2024-25 should be made for beneficiary-oriented schemes. The Chief Minister said that we will move forward in the direction of development only through effective and transparent operation of public welfare schemes in the state. Government schemes are a symbol of mutual trust between the government and the public, hence work towards increasing public confidence in the government by implementing the schemes 100 percent. This is good governance, this is the basic goal of a welfare state.
In the meeting, officers of all departments gave updated information about their respective beneficiary-oriented schemes and also told about the efforts being made to achieve the goals of these schemes.
