Online voter slip of software SEC ER prepared by State Election Commission is also valid

Raipur, 10 February 2025: 18 types of documents have been approved for voter identification at the polling station for the Urban Body and Three-Tier Panchayat General Election 2025. Chhattisgarh State Election Commission has approved voter ID card issued by Election Commission of India, bank, post office photo passbook, passport, income tax identity card PAN card, Aadhaar card, photo service identity card issued by state, central government, public sector undertaking or local body or other private industrial institutions to their employees, photo pension document, MNREGA job card, photo health insurance scheme (smart) card, driving license, freedom fighter photo identity card, Central or Chhattisgarh. Marksheets with photo of 10th and 12th issued by the State Board of Secondary Education, photo identity card issued to advocates by Bar Council, disability certificate with photo, valid ration card with photo issued by Chhattisgarh Government, student identity card with photo issued by college or school, arms license with photo and voter identity slip generated by software SEC ER prepared by Chhattisgarh State Election Commission have been accepted as identity card in polling stations.

Chhattisgarh State Election Commission has also accepted voter identity slip generated online by software as identity card in polling. This slip can be downloaded by the voter from the link given on the Commission’s website. For this, by going to cgsec.gov.in website, you can search Voter Search and Print Urban and Voter Search and Print – Rural name wise and see the details of your polling station and print identity card.
