Do district, division and state level grading of police stations, reward those doing good work: Chief Minister Dr. Yadav

Bhopal: Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav said that police service is a lifelong service that keeps you young. The police always faces challenges, I am happy that MP Police is fighting all its challenges and setting new dimensions of success. It is a great thing that our police is working for the security of the state and society by being ready for service 24 hours a day. He said that we need to further enhance internal unity. In this context, service meet is very beneficial and relevant. Such service gatherings inspire officers to listen to each other’s experiences, share them and act upon them. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav was addressing the inauguration of Indian Police Service Meet (IPS Meet) at Kushabhau Thackeray Auditorium on Friday. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav told the Director General of Police to grade the police stations of the state at the district, division and state level on the basis of work performance and also reward the police officers and employees doing good work. This will increase the credibility of the state and the police among the public.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that today our police is becoming the center of hope for everyone. We all should develop good qualities of life and cooperate with the police in their work. He said that today we are living in a crime-free, fear-free and positive environment. All this is possible only due to the service dedication, discipline and hard work of the police. The government is working very sensitively towards the modernization of the police force. The IPS Service Meet should not be just a gathering but should be taken as a training workshop. He said that God has given us the opportunity to serve, so considering it as God’s blessing, we should use our abilities 100 percent in the direction of the welfare of the society, service, security and making the society a cultured society, this is Karma Sadhna.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that when all the borders are closed, only then does a person go to the police. In this context, the police is the last ray of hope. The police should always maintain this trust of the public. Our abilities should be improved through dialogue, gathering, teaching-training with each other. He said that this service meet should not be just a meeting, but should become a place to meet your thoughts.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that to encourage the police force, a tradition should be started to reward police officers and employees doing good work in the police stations of the state. Highlighting the important role of the police force, the Chief Minister said that maintaining law and order is the priority of the government and the role of the police is the most important in this. He inspired the police officers to always be ready to ensure security and justice in the society. The Chief Minister said that the government is constantly trying to equip the police force with all the resources and state-of-the-art technology. Bamhorikalan police station of Tikamgarh district has been identified in the list of best police stations by the Union Home Ministry. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav honored Superintendent of Police Tikamgarh and Police Station Incharge Bamhorikalan Ms. Rashmi Jain for this.

Police is always ready to protect the public: DGP Shri Makwana

Director General of Police Shri Kailash Makwana said that the police is always ready to protect the public. We have implemented the new criminal law very well. In this matter, Madhya Pradesh Police has also received praise from the Union Home Minister and the Union Home Secretary. We are laying special emphasis on the modernization of the police force and their training. Our police has done excellent work in the past. The police has eradicated the dacoit problem from the state through joint efforts with the society. We are also moving rapidly towards the eradication of the Naxal problem. Our challenges are increasing, cyber crime, cyber fraud, de-addiction and traffic safety are big challenges for us. We are working rapidly in this direction. In the past months, we have run a campaign in the entire state to avoid cyber security and cyber fraud. So far, more than 10 lakh students and the same number of citizens have been made aware of cyber security. We have achieved unprecedented success in this work.

IPS Association President Shri Ravi Kumar Gupta said that it is our good fortune that Chief Minister Dr. Yadav, who cares about everyone’s welfare, is among us today. Our police is ready to protect every person in the state. We never back down from our responsibilities. He thanked Chief Minister Dr. Yadav for coming to the summit and encouraging the police.
