Raipur 02 February 2025: On the occasion of Basant Panchami, the melody of poetry kept flowing till late night in the 65th Saraswati Jayanti organized in Purani Basti of the capital Raipur. In this event, poets of Ojas, Veer, Shringar and other rasas mesmerized the audience with their creations. In the Kavi Sammelan, the renowned poets of the state welcomed Basant by worshiping Mother Vagdevi. Applause echoed on every line in the program, which made the event memorable. With the fragrance of spring, now the series of Basant Panchami events has started in the whole city. This Kavi Sammelan was also a part of the same series, in which poetry lovers enjoyed this melody of poetry with an open heart. In the Kavi Sammelan, poet Rameshwar Sharma, poet Mannu Lal Yadu, poet Yashwant Yash, poetess Smt. Sushma Prem Patel, poet Minesh Sahu, poet Ricky Bindas, poet Raju Chhattisgarhia captivated the audience by reciting poetry. On this occasion, senior litterateurs Rameshwar Sharma and Indradev Yadav, Rishi Patwari, Uttam Devhare and a large number of audience were present.
