Chief Minister Dr. Yadav invited Japan to invest in hydropower projects

Bhopal: Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav met Senior Vice President of Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) Mr. Shohei Hara and invited him to invest in hydro projects in Madhya Pradesh. He said that Japanese companies can invest here due to the abundance of water resources and developed infrastructure in the state. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that we can take the help of Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) for Madhya Pradesh Rural Water Supply Project, which will be able to provide stable and safe water supply in the north-western districts of the state by constructing water treatment plants and related facilities.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that this meeting is very important with the intention of increasing cooperation with JICA in new areas in the state. Sustainable city models can be created in major cities like Bhopal, Indore and Gwalior by using technology and Japanese expertise in urban transport, water management and smart city projects. Describing the meeting with Chief Minister Dr. Yadav as positive, JICA Senior Vice President Shohei Hara said that in this meeting, detailed discussions were held on the possibilities of sectors like electricity, health as well as agriculture in Madhya Pradesh. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that with the help of JICA, infrastructure upgradation and development of logistics hubs in industrial areas, conservation and restoration of catchment areas of major rivers like Narmada and Chambal and adoption of Japanese training model for skill development of youth in the state will be done.
