Calf Found in a Disturbing Condition According to reports, a local resident, Renu Pandey, went to her cowshed on Wednesday morning to check on her cow and calf. As soon as she opened the cowshed door, she was left in shock. She discovered her 11-month-old calf hanging by one of its hind legs, tied to the ceiling. Additionally, the calf had visible injuries near its eyes, suggesting that it had been subjected to severe cruelty.
Animal Husbandry Department Reaches the Spot The woman immediately informed the locals, and soon the news spread like wildfire. Members of the Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) also arrived at the scene and demanded strict action against the culprit. Meanwhile, the woman filed a formal complaint with the police, and officials from the Animal Husbandry Department reached the site to examine the injured calf. Veterinarians provided medical care to the animal. Police Investigation Intensifies Dr. Hema, a veterinary officer, stated that the case appears suspicious at first glance. A request has been sent to the Chief Veterinary Officer to form a committee for a detailed medical examination. The final confirmation will only be possible after the medical report and forensic analysis of the samples. Following the complaint, the police have intensified their investigation and are working to identify and apprehend the perpetrator.
