Jijamata taught that even the impossible can be made possible with determination and courage: Chief Minister Dr. Yadav

Bhopal: Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has said that Jijamata taught us that with determination and courage, even the impossible can be made possible. Referring to the women empowerment schemes and policies of the state government, he said that the government is working with full commitment for the all-round development of women. Jijamata Samman Samaroh has been organized with the aim of honoring women empowerment and their contribution to the society. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav was addressing the Jijamata Samman Samaroh organized at Ravindra Bhawan on Sunday.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that when a player wins a medal in a national or international competition, it is not just the hard work of that player, but also the important contribution of the mother who sheds tears and hard work in preparing that player. The role of women is paramount in making India India and making a player a player. Family is the first training school for children and mothers do this work very well. We feel proud by honoring them. The supportive attitude of society and government towards sports and players is very important. We are working in this direction and trying to develop all sports in the state and give equal opportunities to the players.

Union Sports Minister Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya said that Nari Shakti has brought respect and pride to this country. Sports is an important part of our life. It is our culture as well as our nature. We will prepare players who can bring more and more Olympic medals for the country by implementing the new National Sports Policy. Through this policy, we have planned to pay special attention to the training of adolescent players aged 9 to 15 years. After Khelo India School Games, Khelo India University Games, we are moving forward in this direction through Khelo India Youth Games. Its good results are also coming out. We will prepare players from the districts and bring them to the state level and prepare state level players for national and international level sports competitions. Congratulating all the Nari Shakti honored with Jija Mata Samman, he said that we have to come forward for the reconstruction of the country. Mothers have the most important role in this.

Sarkaryavah of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh, Shri Dattatreya Hosabale said that it was Jijamata who made Shivaji Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. She was the Mahameru of strong determination and also a skilled administrator. Honouring the women power by organizing a felicitation ceremony in her name is to honour the sacrifice and sacrifice of every mother of the country, who nurtured players who made the country proud by their hard work. He said that Jijamata was a patient mother full of valour and courage. She taught Veer Shivaji the skills of the battlefield and also ran the administration efficiently. She prepared Shivaji Maharaj to protect his nation and religion. He did not learn to bow down. She had said that my son Shiva will not be anyone’s slave, he will create an independent state. It was her inspiration that later Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj laid the foundation of an independent Hindu nation.

Sports and Youth Welfare Minister Shri Vishwas Kailash Sarang said that to make the country strong, first we have to make our body and mind strong. Mother is the first school for children and all this will be possible only with their contribution. He congratulated and thanked Krida Bharti for organizing this national level felicitation ceremony in Bhopal. Shri Sarang said that this event is not only a tribute to mothers but also a tribute to the efforts being made by the Madhya Pradesh government to honor sports and players.

Throwing light on the outline of the program, National Working President of Krida Bharati and Minister of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises, Shri Chaitanya Kumar Kashyap said that Krida Bharati is an organization dedicated to the development of sports. The youth follow the players. Therefore, our government is working with full energy in this direction to take sports to every village. Our Chief Minister Dr. Yadav himself has been a wrestling player and his love for sports is well known. Our government will also fully cooperate in the work that Krida Bharati is doing to nurture and flourish sports like a tradition.

In the ceremony, on behalf of Krida Bharati, mothers of players who made the country proud in national and international level sports competitions were honoured with Jijamata Samman. Among those honoured were Smt. Gauridevi, mother of international gymnast and Khel Ratna awardee Ms. Dipa Karmakar, Smt. Usha Kumari, mother of international hockey goalkeeper Mr. P.R. Sreejesh, Smt. Mamoni Devi Borgohain, mother of Olympic boxer Ms. Lovlina, Smt. Shweta Jevaria, mother of parashooter Ms. Avni Lekhara who won gold medal in both Tokyo and Paris Paralympics, and Smt. Kamala Devi, mother of international hockey player of the state Mr. Vivek Sagar Prasad, were honoured with Jijamata Samman. Smt. Saroj Chopra, mother of Mr. Neeraj Chopra, gold medal winner in javelin throw in the Olympic competition held last year, was also honoured with this honour. In the absence of Mrs. Chopra, Mr. Neeraj Chopra’s uncle Mr. Bhim Singh received the Jijamata Samman on her behalf. The launch of the sports song ‘Khel-Khiladi-Khel’ was also done in the programme.

Sports knowledge test awards were also given

Chetan Kashyap Foundation has been organizing the Krida Gyan Pariksha online at the national level every year for the last three years. In the year 2024, a total of 1 lakh 40 thousand participants took part in this examination. The Foundation gives first, second and third prizes of Rs 5 lakh every year to the winners of this examination. The first prize is of Rs 1 lakh and two second prizes of Rs 50,000 each and 11 third prizes of Rs 11,000 each are given. In the Jijamata Samman ceremony, this year’s first prize of Rs 1 lakh was given to Mr. Parth Prajapat of Indore Malwa Province and two second prizes of Rs 50,000 each were given to Mr. Abhishek Kumar of South Bihar and Mr. Dev Karelia of Saurashtra. The main objective of organizing this examination is to spread awareness about sports among the youth.

In the ceremony, Shrimati Shweta Jevaria, who received the Jijamata Samman, shared her motherly experience of the hard work she put in to help paratrooper Shrimati Avni Lekhara achieve her goal. She said that children should always be taught to fight adverse situations, never let their morale drop, only then can a child move forward to become a good player.

Mr Deepak Sancheti, Mr Raj Chaudhary, Mr Shailendra Shrivastava of Krida Bharti along with other officials of this organization, a large number of players, their family members and sports loving spectators were present in the program.
