Youth should give every possible contribution in making India a developed nation: Chief Minister Dr. Yadav

Bhopal: Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has said that the youth have always been dedicated to the country and society. Be it the freedom struggle against the British or the time of opposition to other invaders, the youth have protected religion, culture and life values ​​by sacrificing their lives for the country and society when needed. The present time is the time to establish India as a developed country in the world. It is our good fortune that the country has the leadership and guidance of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi. He called upon the youth to contribute in every possible way in their respective fields with their ability, competence and hard work, with a dedicated spirit towards the goal of making India a developed nation by the year 2047. Under the motto of Prime Minister Shri Modi “Focus on Knowledge”, making the poor, youth, farmers and women power self-reliant and empowered is our top priority. With the aim of giving a constructive direction to the energy of the youth for the progress of the country, “Swami Vivekananda Yuva Shakti Mission” is being started in the state on the occasion of Swami Vivekananda Jayanti-National Youth Day. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav was addressing the launch ceremony of Yuva Shakti Mission at Ravindra Bhawan Bhopal on Sunday. Vice Chancellors of various universities and a large number of students and youth were present in the program.

Youth portal launched and youth administered oath

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav inaugurated the program by lighting the lamp and paying floral tribute to the portrait of Swami Vivekananda. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav unveiled the logo of Yuva Shakti Mission based on the mission’s motto of Atma Deepo Bhava: – dialogue, strength, prosperity. He administered the oath to the youth to become skilled and self-reliant and to guide the society by lighting the lamp of their life. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav also inaugurated the theme song of the mission and the Yuva Portal developed with the objective of providing information of various departments to the youth. Along with this, he launched the Umang Wellness Program jointly developed by the Department of Public Health and Medical Education and Higher Education for the physical, mental and emotional health of the youth. On this occasion, a short film centered on “Umang” was also screened.

MoU was exchanged, letters of encouragement were given to the girls

In the presence of Chief Minister Dr. Yadav, an MoU was exchanged between Global Skill Park and Trident Company for upgrading the skills of youth and providing training as per industrial requirements. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav presented letters of encouragement to girls from tribal-dominated districts of the state who received training in various trades in Government Women ITI Betul and other institutions under the V-STEM project run by UN Women.

The aim of the mission is to make 1.5 crore youth of Madhya Pradesh self-reliant and self-sufficient

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that India is the youngest country in the world and we are capable of solving all the questions on the basis of our ability and competence. Madhya Pradesh alone has more than 1.5 crore youth power. By communicating with them, the state government will provide all possible support for their future and progress according to their interest and ability. The objective of Yuva Shakti Mission is to make the youth self-reliant and self-sufficient by providing quality education to them, training in entrepreneurship for their capacity enhancement and to ensure the use of the energy of the youth in the interest of the country and the state by coordinating with the schemes and programs related to the interests of the youth run in all 54 departments.

Will create jobs for the youth

In the current era, skill development and training in this field have special importance. While providing employment in government service or private sector, working for entrepreneurship development, the youth will be made job givers, not job seekers. Under the mission, targets have been set to make the lives of the youth happy and prosperous and a roadmap has also been prepared for achieving them within the time limit.

Youth should implement the thoughts of Swami Vivekananda

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that efforts will be made to provide employment to more than 70 percent of the youth of the state by the year 2030. Education is the basis of personality development and better life along with employment. The target of the mission has been set that every youth of the state should complete education up to class 10 by the year 2028 and class 12 by the year 2030. To make the youth economically self-reliant, training and guidance will also be provided in entrepreneurship and other fields for employment as per their interest. Many countries have made their special identity in the world on the strength of technology. Our youth should also move forward with new resolve and fulfill the motto of Swami Vivekananda ji “Arise, awake and do not stop until the goal is achieved”.

Youth spread light like a lamp with their energy

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that Swami Vivekanand Yuva Shakti Mission is a step towards providing necessary support from the state government in realizing the dreams of the youth of the state. Prime Minister Shri Modi believes that by conducting development activities focusing on the poor, youth, farmers and women power, the country will be able to achieve the goal of becoming a developed nation in a short time. Swami Vivekanand Yuva Shakti Mission has been started by the state government as per his wishes. Youth are a source of infinite energy, this energy of theirs should be used to spread light like a lamp, this is the objective of Yuva Shakti Mission. With this objective, the state government is committed to giving direction to the youth. According to the present time and need, the state government is also sensitive to provide them training and guidance in other fields along with education through dialogue with the youth.

Sports and Youth Welfare and Cooperation Minister Shri Vishwas Sarang, while highlighting the contribution of Swami Vivekananda in establishing Indian culture, religion and philosophy in the world, said that the Yuva Shakti Mission started on the initiative of Chief Minister Dr. Yadav is like an offering in the yagya started by Prime Minister Shri Modi for building a powerful and glorious India. Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Backward Classes and Minority Welfare, Smt. Krishna Gaur said that the Yuva Shakti Mission started by Chief Minister Dr. Yadav, inspired by the thoughts of Prime Minister Shri Modi, will help in empowering the youth. The mission will also help in connecting the youth with the stream of development by providing them quality education and employment-oriented skills. MP Khajuraho Shri V.D. Sharma said that Swami Vivekananda had called for continuing efforts till the goal is achieved. In the present times, the youth need to be self-reliant as well as live for the country and resolve themselves for the welfare of the society and set goals. The Yuva Shakti Mission started by Chief Minister Dr. Yadav on the initiative of Prime Minister Shri Modi will open new doors of possibilities for the youth of the state.

Chief Secretary Mr. Anurag Jain said that Swami Vivekananda’s thoughts have historically established the prestige of Indian religion, philosophy and culture at the global level and have also inspired the youth of the country in times of despair. The creation of Swami Vivekananda Yuva Shakti Mission has incorporated the views of various stakeholders along with the state government. The mission, established with the aim of development and empowerment, will also inspire the youth to play an active role in the society along with self-confidence-entrepreneurship-education-skills-sensitivity towards their own health. At the end of the program, Additional Chief Secretary Mr. Manu Shrivastava presented a set of Swami Vivekananda’s books to all the guests including Chief Minister Dr. Yadav as a symbol.
