Raipur, 02 January 2025: Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai has praised the spirit of joining the Indian Army of Chhattisgarh’s daughter Veena Sahu, who is serving as Lieutenant Nursing Officer in the Indian Army, and Aditya Singh of Farasgaon of Bastar division, selected in Rashtriya Indian Military College. Both these youths are from ordinary families, these youths of ordinary background have achieved this position due to their passion and zeal to serve the country and join the Indian Army. Veena Sahu is the daughter of farmer Chetan Sahu of Jamruwa village of Balod district. Veena Sahu’s dream was to join the military, which she fulfilled with her dedication and hard work. Aditya Singh’s father Mr. Jaiprakash Singh runs a general store. Aditya’s father wanted to join the Air Force, but could not succeed. His son has fulfilled his dream with his hard work and dedication.
Chief Minister Sai spoke to Veena Sahu over the phone and congratulated and wished her for this achievement and encouraged her. Veena Sahu has come to her home on vacation. The Chief Minister said that daughters are our self-respect, the pride of Chhattisgarh. He told Veena Sahu that you have brought glory to Chhattisgarh, raised the name of Chhattisgarh. This achievement of yours is a source of inspiration for countless youth of the state. Veena Sahu said that by becoming a nursing officer, we are serving those people who serve the country. This is a matter of pride for us.
