Bilaspur gets a gift of development works worth Rs 452 crore: Chief Minister praises district administration for bike ambulance service

Raipur 12 December 2024 Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai said that we are fulfilling the guarantee given by Prime Minister Narendra Modi at full speed. Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai said this today during the inauguration and foundation stone laying program of 134 development works costing Rs 451 crore 25 lakh to Bilaspur district in a program organized at JMP Government School premises in Takhatpur development block of Bilaspur district. On this occasion, Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai distributed material and cheques to 3 thousand 883 beneficiaries benefited from various schemes of the government. On this occasion, on the request of Takhatpur MLA Dharamjit Singh, the Chief Minister made important announcements including increasing the number of beds from 30 to 50 in Takhatpur Community Health Center, Rs 1 crore for construction of Chowpatty in Takhatpur, Rs 5 lakh for Baba Guru Ghasidas Jayanti Utsav in Takhatpur. He handed over appointment letters to 142 selected employees of Education and Health Department. Union Minister of State for Housing and Urban Development Tokhan Sahu was present as a special guest in the program. The program was presided over by Deputy Chief Minister Arun Saw. He praised the district administration for the service of bike ambulance. He said that since the start of bike ambulance facility in Kota development block of Bilaspur district in the month of March, 4089 patients have got direct benefit from it till now. Patients from all sections are included in this. Bike ambulance is also being used for regular health checkup of pregnant women, vaccination of children and treatment of seasonal diseases. Pregnant women from the forest region are brought to the centre for institutional delivery through bike ambulances and pregnant mothers are also safely taken home after delivery.

Chief Ministe Sai said that we have prevented the possibility of liquor scam, coal scam through good governance. In accordance with the Prime Minister’s announcement, CBI investigation of PSC has started. The Public Service Commission examination has been conducted with complete fairness and transparency, due to which sons of farmers, laborers and poor have been selected for big posts today. Chief Minister Sai said that night landing facility will be available soon at Bilaspur Airport. Chief Minister Sai said that the state is getting the benefit of double engine government. Our government is fighting strongly against Naxalism. The government has taken the initiative to end Naxalism by March 2026. Under the Niyyad Nella Nar Yojana, we have brought the light of development to the highly Naxalite areas. The Chief Minister said that on completion of one year of the state government, it is being celebrated as Janadesh Tihar. Addressing the program, Union Minister of State for Development and Urban Development, Tokhan Sahu said that our government is committed to the welfare of farmers. As soon as the government was formed, we sanctioned 18 lakh houses for the poor. Farmers were also given the bonus due for 2 years in lump sum. Addressing the program, Deputy Chief Minister Arun Sao said that today is a historic day when Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai has gifted development works worth Rs 452 crore to the district. Our commitment is towards the people and development works. Women and Child Development Minister Smt. Laxmi Rajwade also addressed the program. Women and Child Development Minister Laxmi Rajwade, MLAs Dharamlal Kaushik, Amar Agarwal and other public representatives were present in the program.
