Sambal Yojana works as per its name – Chief Minister Dr. Yadav

Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has said that Sambal Yojana provides support to the workers in emergency situations as per its name. He said that the government is with the workers in times of difficulty and sorrow. He said that this amount is in the form of condolences from the state government for the family of the affected beneficiary. This amount will definitely support the workers in times of difficulty. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav on Wednesday transferred an amount of Rs 225 crore to the bank accounts of 10 thousand 236 beneficiary worker families through a single click from the Ministry under the Chief Minister Jan-Kalyan Yojana (Sambal). Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that the Chief Minister Jan-Kalyan (Sambal) Yojana was started in the year 2018. Under this scheme, benefits of more than Rs 5,626 crore have been given in more than 6 lakh 16 thousand cases since its inception. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav praised Labor Minister Shri Prahlad Singh Patel and said that Shri Patel has worked with sensitivity. He has made efforts to ensure that the person till the last row of the society gets the benefit of the public welfare schemes of the government.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav informed that more than one crore 73 lakh labour brothers and sisters have registered themselves in the Sambal Yojana. Out of these, more than 32 lakh workers have been registered in the Sambal 2.0 scheme. He said that this is a unique scheme, in which crores of needy families are helped from the birth of the child till their entire life. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that the workers who go door-to-door to provide goods and services have been placed in the category of unorganized workers and they are also being given the benefit of Sambal Yojana from March 2024. These include stone breakers, brick makers, cooks, household workers, tendu leaf collectors etc. They are also being given the benefit of schemes like ex-gratia assistance amount, education incentive scheme, maternity assistance, Ayushman Bharat and ration slip in this scheme. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav also had a virtual dialogue with some beneficiaries of Sambal Yojana in the amount transfer program. He discussed with Mrs. Rekha Pradhan from Narmadapuram, Mrs. Krishna Bai from Sehore, Mrs. Lamti Bai from Dindori, Mrs. Shobharani from Sagar and Mrs. Krishna Devi. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav told the beneficiaries that the government is with you in this hour of grief, the amount being given today will prove to be helpful for your family.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that today is the death anniversary of Krantisurya Jananayak Tantya Mama. He made efforts to free his society from the atrocities of the British. It is on this day that the state government has given benefits to the workers’ families. Labor, Panchayat and Rural Development Minister Mr. Patel expressed his gratitude to Chief Minister Dr. Yadav for transferring the amount of Sambal Yojana to the workers. He said that our sensitive government is committed to the welfare of workers and the poor. This is the first time that the amount has been transferred by linking the accounts of the beneficiaries with Aadhaar. On this occasion, Principal Secretary Labor Shri Umakant Umrao, Labor Commissioner Shri Dhanraju S, Deputy Secretary Labor Department and Secretary Sambal Board Shri Ratnakar Jha along with departmental officers were present. Beneficiaries and public representatives from various districts and blocks joined the program through virtual medium.
