AIDS awareness program was organized at Government ITI, Kurud

On 03/12/2024:  an AIDS awareness program was organized at Government ITI, Kurud. Kurud Hospital Counselor Mrs. Vimlesh Tiwari participated in this program as the keynote speaker. She gave detailed information about the causes of AIDS and highlighted the measures to avoid it.

Counselor Mrs. Tiwari shared information about the increasing AIDS cases in Chhattisgarh and their case study. She told that the main reason for the increasing cases of AIDS is lack of awareness and not taking precautions. She emphasized the importance of preventive measures and increasing awareness.

Program coordinator and NSS officer Mr. Chaman Lal Pal emphasized the importance of AIDS awareness and said that it is the duty of every citizen to make the society aware to prevent a serious disease like AIDS. He appealed to the trainees to spread this message on a wide scale.

Training Officer Ms. Minati Bez gave information about the measures to prevent AIDS and inspired the trainees to be vigilant. She also advised to avoid risky activities like tattoo in the name of fashion.

This program was successfully completed under the guidance of the institute’s principal Mr. Yogesh Devangan. Training officer Toshan Sahu, Devendra Tandon, Surendra Devangan, Indrajit Sahu, Birendra Sahu were also present in the program. NSS volunteers played an important role in managing the program.
