Piyush Appointed as Trade Commissioner of the Commonwealth Trade Council of India
Bhopal: On International Tolerance Day, during the oath-taking ceremony for the Trade Commissioner of the Commonwealth Trade Council of India, Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav expressed pride in the appointment of Piyush Tiwari as the Trade Commissioner for Madhya Pradesh. He noted that countries like the United Kingdom, which once ruled India, are now standing with us. Today, India is a guiding, supportive, and popular ally to many nations around the world. By 2026, India is expected to become the world’s third-largest economy.The event was attended by representatives from several Commonwealth nations, including Australia, Namibia, the United Kingdom, Malawi, and Samoa. Ambassadors from countries like Myanmar, Turkey, Morocco, Algeria, and Uganda were also present. During the ceremony, Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav handed over the appointment letter to Piyush Tiwari and congratulated him on behalf of the citizens of the state for this significant responsibility.CM Mohan Yadav expressed optimism that Piyush Tiwari’s new role would lead to a fresh direction in trade relations with Commonwealth countries. Representatives from various nations attending the United Nations’ World Tolerance Day event congratulated Piyush Tiwari on his new position.The Chief Minister remarked that countries like the United Kingdom, which once ruled over India, are now our supporters. This shift is attributed to the intelligence of the Indian people, our self-reliance, our resources, and the capable leadership of PM Modi. Madhya Pradesh is receiving proposals for business, commerce, and industry from various countries around the world. The state is not only favorable for industry and trade but also for culture, minerals, aviation, and tourism, holding great potential for excellent work in these sectors. He stated that a state is considered great when its people are virtuous, crime is minimal, and the overall sentiments are positive.He also noted that until 2004, Madhya Pradesh had only five or six medical colleges, but that number has now increased to 20. In the next year, 12 new medical colleges will be launched under the PPP model.
