20 Baiga families get Diwali gift

Bhopal. Knowledge (GYAN or JIYAN)…, means poor, youth, food provider and women welfare. In Madhya Pradesh, special efforts are being made for the overall welfare of the targeted families and beneficiaries under JIYAN. The state government is working in mission mode for the development of all these. Three Particularly Vulnerable and Backward Tribes (PVTG) Baiga, Bharia and Saharia reside in the state. The central and state governments are making great efforts under PM Jan-Man for the welfare of the poor in JIYAN and to make them capable. Continuous work is also being done to expand mobile connectivity in their settlements by providing permanent houses to all these special backward tribes, electricity to every house, clean drinking water from tap in every house, roads to reach their settlements/villages, getting Aadhaar cards made for everyone and opening Jan-Dhan bank accounts for everyone. Providing permanent houses to every eligible family of these backward tribes is the primary goal of the government and very good work is being done in the state in this direction.

On Deepawali, the government gifted 20 Baiga families a permanent house. Griha Pravesh Utsav was celebrated recently in the Gram Panchayat Badhavabada of Sohagpur block of Shahdol district. Here, 20 families of the Baiga tribe were given Griha Pravesh by performing Puja on the same day, at the same time and at the same place. Regional MLA Mrs. Manisha Singh gave the gift of Deepawali to the Baiga families by performing Puja-Archana of 20 newly constructed houses under the PM Jan-Man Yojana. On this occasion, Mr. Bablu Baiga, W. Baiga, Rambhuvan Baiga, Rahul Baiga, Ramkaran Baiga, Vippa Baiga, Bulli Baiga, Shyamdas Baiga, Ghanshyam Baiga, Manoj Baiga, Mrs. Dukhni Baiga, Mrs. Sampatti Baiga, Mrs. Nanbai Baiga, Mrs. Parvati Baiga and members of other Baiga families received the gift of permanent houses. It is worth noting that under the PM Jan-Man Yojana, backward tribes are being given the benefit of all the necessary health facilities, food distribution and other schemes. Efforts are being made to improve the living standards of the Baiga beneficiaries in Shahdol district by linking them to this scheme on priority basis.

Ramun Baiga got a permanent house

Mr. Ramun Baiga, a resident of village Bhamala of Budhar block of Shahdol district, has also got a permanent house under the PM Jan-Man Yojana. After getting a permanent house, Ramun Baiga thanked Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav and said that now I will be able to live a safe and better life with my family. He said that earlier he had to face many problems in a kutcha house, but now his life has become better than before after getting a permanent house.

Jawahar Lal Baiga also got a permanent roof

Mr. Jawahar Lal Baiga, a resident of Mehraudi village of Budhar block of Shahdol district, has also got a permanent roof due to the PM Jan-Man Yojana. Jawahar Lal is very happy these days and repeatedly expresses his gratitude to Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav for giving him the gift of a pucca house.
