Unit number 11 of Satpura Thermal Power Station Sarni has generated electricity for more than 100 days continuously
Bhopal. In the series of continuous generation of electricity by thermal power plants of Madhya Pradesh Power Generating Company, Unit number 11 of 250 MW of Satpura Thermal Power Station Sarni has set a record of generating electricity for more than 100 days continuously. It is noteworthy that Unit number 10 and Unit number 11 are generating electricity under power house number four of Satpura Thermal Power Station Sarni. Unit number 11, which has set the record, has been generating electricity continuously since 28 July this year.
Unit number 11 achieved other production achievements
Unit number 11 of 250 MW capacity of Satpura Thermal Power Station Sarni also achieved success in various parameters. This unit achieved 99 percent Plant Availability Factor (PAF), 88.69 percent Plant Load Factor (PLF) and 8.45 percent Auxiliary Consumption (APC). This unit is currently producing continuous electricity.
Record was made last year too
Unit number 11 had also set a record of producing electricity continuously for 236 days in the last financial year 2023-24.
Energy Minister congratulated
Energy Minister Shri Pradyuman Singh Tomar congratulated the engineers and personnel of Unit No. 11 of Satpura Thermal Power Station Sarni on this achievement and expressed hope that they will work with the same spirit and create new records in power generation. Their better performance has maintained the reliability of power supply in the state.
