Kedarnath’s doors closed: Dham resounds with chants of Har Har Mahadev
The doors of Kedarnath Dham, one of the twelve Jyotirlingas of Lord Ashutosh, prominent among the Panch Kedars, have been closed for the winter season today on the holy festival of Bhai Dooj. The doors of the temple were closed for the winter season at 8.30 am.
18644 devotees witnessed this holy moment in the Dham. When the doors were closed, the devotees danced to the tunes of the army band. The chants of Har Har Mahadev were heard from everyone’s lips.
The process of closing the doors had started at 4 am. Crowds of Baba’s devotees had started gathering in the Dham since early morning. The Jyotirlinga of Lord Ashutosh was given Samadhi form. After this, the doors were closed with rituals.
